Have fun with the ballet, not my sort of thing but then again I have only ever had two left feet.

Hi guys! Thing is, I'm not a stay at home mum, I'm a full time worker (supposedly) with no kids (definitely, I'd know if I had children) - but business is slack because of you-know-what and other things too, so I have loads of time to spend on this sort of stuff, I'm very lucky in a way given the fact that I *am* in debt!

But yes, downtime for me will be in there - I hear a Stargate DVD calling me. Not yet tho!

Forgot - I was looking at Vernons on quidco, which Hypno and Benben have both done. I think they both did DOND to qualify, so last night I went over and played it for free - never seen the TV show, so no idea what to do. Now I've got a plan, I might have a go at that for the cashback - cos I'm always wasting time by playing computer games, so to do it legitimately will be A Good Thing!

Yep, I'm chuffed at the water meter, they arrived so *early* tho - I wanted to put a load of washing on before I had to pay, but no time :o :rotfl: :o

I haven't seen your thread for a couple of days, off to hunt it down  to find out how the Spanish class went.

Ug, slight detour as I was doing the first one on my list - its really hard to read the screens for the euro bookies, I can't tile them vertically for some reason, only horizontally (the pages squish together, and they're impossible to read). But they're pretty hard horizontally too - so I've just been uninstalling toolbars and status bars on Explorer and Firefox, learning how to re-install quickly too.... its never easy, is it! I may still go fetch the old VDU screen from the garage and learn to operate two screens from one computer, I may have to.

Another detour! Seems I've been temporarily limited to two euros as a stake! I've emailed CS to try to get it sorted....

One positive: I've now got two mystery shops for next Thursday, I've checked that I'm eligible for them, and by fiddling about with the travelinfo website, I can do them both on one extended type bus ticket, so money in, £24, money out, £4.50, thats really good.

Ratted hiccup has lasted all day, with one thing and another! Emailed the bookie, have sent them a screenshot now for them to work it out, I've got no clue - the box to put the stake in isn't appearing. Huh!

I've done a bit of the background work I meant to do - I'm having to start again on my squares and things. I'm doing 360 at £25 a square. Its a total of £9000, £1375 of which is what I've already paid to the builder for work done this month - so between that, the money I've put into the set-aside account, and the 5 mystery shops I've just been paid for, I have 69 squares to colour in!

I didn't even join the £10 a day challenge this month, but there have been bits and bobs around:
    - a £5.75 payment from quidco,
    - about £7 from first class stamps from that postal thing,
    - £50 from the focus group, which feels like ages ago, but was actually 5th September,
    - a £3.50 voucher code from here for Tesco
    - bulk buy savings on my pesto! £3.90 cos of the introductory price thing.

And I'm sure there were other bits too!
Total £70. I'm pretty pleased with that! And I'll have the sportingbet freebie to add to it when it comes up.

Right, zooming off to the ballet class now, see you tomorrow all, have a good evening.

EDIT using this post as my listing for the 10 a day challenge.
    - 1.88 profit from Vernons to be withdrawn tomorrow for Sept challenge, now £71.88 total
    - July total 347.02
    - August total £127.90.
