Karmacat: I'm passionate about my DFW journey to riches

Right, things are looking up today. I have two tiny little jobs left on my accounts - finding the invoices to go with debits on my euro current account for my little French property, and I already know I won't find some of them - and just listing all the income and outgoings - my first Amazon sale is in that tax year, for instance!
After I dump that at my accountants, I have to catch up on a bit of admin, and then....... MATCHED BETTING! GTD and I have been hatching plots to rule the world, my A&L account is approved, I *will* conquer this bleeping thing and get the money rolling in.
Right. Off to have brekkie, and do my paper trading. Hope all are well, I'll be back on later.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Glad things are looking up, KC, and good luck with the matched betting!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Thanks hypno! Done my paper trading - sometimes it can be over in a flash - and am just off now to check your diary, see if those pages have turned up.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Well, yesterday was productive - I finally managed to turn in the accounts - the stuff that I saw in the paperwork was DFW interesting... like, even this time last year, I was still ordering weekly deliveries from Tesco, because thats where I got my fresh veg from. Now, I only have a delivery every 3-4 weeks. I get fresh veg in London on Fridays, a little bit when I go into town on Saturdays, some when I go mystery shopping in various places; and now that I have a little box freezer in my fridge that works (thanks to freecycle), I can buy frozen veg too, so I can go to my local shop (where all the fresh veg, except the bananas, is very tired, I'd never shop there for veg otherwise).
Plus the advertising budget for my business - I'd guessed it was about £500, but it was actually almost £900 (and thats each, my partner pays the same). And since most of our business comes via the web, nearly all of that is useless. So I've already agreed with my partner not to renew several places we advertise in, which is saving me about £400.
Now, its a question of tidying up the place - literally clearing the decks! :rotfl: - so I can get started on the matched betting. And quidco - I've just seen ss's link to some great quidco listing. Not investigated yet, but I will.
Have a good day, all :A2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
God save me from my own stupidity in not getting ready for sessions early enough. And I'm not even Christian!

Just joined hypno's housework challenge - clearing the decks in earnest, the cobwebs are getting a bit much. Off to do the first bit, washing (most) of the dishes.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi  I love that wavey smiley.
Trying to keep track of things through the migraine:
1. Accounts are in! Yay me! :j
2. Kitchen hasn't got dirtier - almost all the washing up has been done. :j Housework challenge not going particularly well, but better than it might have
3. Back on a healthy eating kick - all of this feeling yuck is partly down to too much chocolate.
4. A&L account is opened, now needs to be activated and funded, can do that today, while I'm doing 5.
5. Off to the dentist for routine check up and polish etc.
6. Need to stock up on fresh food - only have the basics in. :money:
7. Bleepity.... paper trading - beautiful little pattern was forming as I got on this morning, if I'd had my wits about me, I'd have got in, even if I'd have got out quickly I'd have made 30 points. If I'd had any gumption at all and stayed in, I'd now be looking at 70 points from then, and I think it has more to go. Bleepity. Possibly I have to pay attention to the fact that tho I'm well UP at 7am, I'm not terribly alert. Oh well, Dow Jones here I come.

Hi Pania!!
Bit late replying, sorry! Yep, I'm having a serious think about this 7am lark - the Dow is at much more sociable times, when I also happen to have a few active brain cells on the go. We'll see.
Right now KC is a happy little bunny  My A&L account for m.b. is finally, finally funded and live. Hurray!!!!   The correspondence and fiddle faddling has to be seen to be believed, A&L have *really* invested in me as a customer, thats for sure. Well, I'm gonna use their account to make a mint.
Anybody know the best way to join betfair? Quidco or referral? In the meantime I'm off to practise finding matches on betfair and coral for the midweek matches :footie: .2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hey there you! Bee busy! Have to say I dont get the matched or spread betting malarky and aways feel cautious about stuff like that anyway & with my total lack of mathematical ability would lose the lot in seconds no doubt! ALso no idea re betfair but I would say read the T&C as I had one I joined up for last year that didnt pay out which really annoyed me as I wouldnt have put the dosh in otherwise! Keep up the good work!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0
