- [strike]have done nectarpoints talktalk survey.[/strike]Um, didn't do any of the others yet. Maybe I won't!
- [strike]do more "gardening", i.e. clearing, this time at the back. Bag the waste. Shall I commit to planting up the windowbox I prepared before I went away? Yeah.... it'll give the little herbs a chance to grow, poor things.[/strike]Yep - the patio is almost useable now, or it will be when I've cleaned the patio chairs. Chopped a lot of grass, weeded the little tiny terraces by the patio. Hurray!
- clean the toilet and bathroom properly, the hallway & counselling room too, since I'm working tomorrow. This absolutely has to be done, but I'm blowed if I'm going to do it right now... EDIT: done the loo properly.
- [strike]check out a matched bet![/strike] done it.
Hmm... well, I didn't do very much - did a lot of mucking about on the computer, and once I got started managed to do quite a bit in the garden2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Another day, another dollar... these childhood sayings....
My dentist and my dental hygienist love me - all is good - tho all the poking and prodding has tensed my jaw muscles, ouchie.
Have sent a query to betfair about tennis T&C, what on earth does unconditionally determined mean, as in:
oWhere markets are offered on individual games or sets within a match, a retirement or disqualification during a game or set will render bets on that game or set market and all individual game or set markets void except those on markets which have been unconditionally determined.
Otherwise, I have to catch up on yesterday's laziness in the next 45 mins by vacuuming through the "public" parts of the house. Quick!!! Catch that vacuum cleaner!
EDIT: just found £0.07 in an account I emptied last month cos of appalling interest rate. Ha!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
- have printed Motor Show tickets successfully (even after inputting wrong tel no).
- have snagged a mystery shop for next week, have got one tomorrow, and have answered a phone call about one I did before my holiday.
- oops, gotta do the washing up. Am determined not to switch the hot water on so much, so must use it when I've heated it.
- played some free bingo, but no luck.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Right. I've got 3.5 hours of work today, plus a friend coming round tonight to talk about some trouble, so I need to be organised. Today I have:
- got the email from betfair about "unconditionally determined" - just need to understand it now :rotfl:
- thrown all the rubbish ready for binmen, actually cut a few extra bits from the front path, dear god....
- nabbed another mystery shop, and sent a query if I can pretty please do another one - regular/oneoff thing, I qualify on one but not the other.
- done my virtual trading - very little happening, as its American interest rate decisions tomorrow, and only early trade would have been a bit of a chancer, tho there was a small properly signalled trade (with a proper exit, ha!) at 0905, 8 net points, £80 quid - what would we give to earn £80 in 5 mins? Or £8, come to that!
For the rest of today:
- need to do a bit of tidying.
- I STILL HAVEN'T LISTENED TO THE S*DDING MINDFULNESS CD!!!!! WHEN AM I GOING TO GET MYSELF IN GEAR ABOUT THIS? WHAT ON EARTH DO I OBJECT TO SO MUCH ABOUT SITTING STILL FOR TEN MINUTES
- okay, rant over. Will finish free bingo.
- need to muck about with online banking[done]. Will have a cup of tea[done!], do that, then mindfulness, then prepare for client[done]. Sounds like a plan.
PS - other plan, to add up actual money earned, as opposed to, say, lightspeed points, and every time it gets to £200 or something, pay it off the loan. Doesn't reduce my outgoings, but will lessen the amount of interest I pay, and bring forward dfw date - I've paid out enough on the house for now!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Sounds like a plan indeed - have a good one!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Sigh.... still not done the mindfulness CD.... tho have signed up for Blockbuster trial on greasypalm. And spent a quick half hour in the front garden, weeding the very front bit. I wish I'd done that regularly - a retaining wall has been attacked by roots, and will deffo have to be rebuilt at some stage. Ah well, I've caught it so it won't fall down tomorrow.
EDIT: have also realised there's more dosh for free on greasypalm and quidco, I've at least stuck the greasypalm stuff in the favourites box to be dealt with there. Done a matched bet too. Didn't see friend tho - he had an "altered state" thing going on, and ended up in hospital, so not really appropriate to come round, will hopefully see him next week.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
