Hoping you start to feel a real improvement soon. (((hugs)))I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Sorry you are still lurgyfied. Hope you begin to feel better soon.

Aww, thanks all. All your kind wishes have been very much appreciated. Dreadful day yesterday because I woke with an awful headache (slept too deeply with my neck at a stupid angle) which even codiene wouldn't shift. The combination of that & the very much ongoing covid symptoms were just the final straw & I spent the day both angry & miserable.
A bit of an improvement today, however.
1. A good night's sleep for both of us.
2. Mr F has tested negative!!
3. I feel brighter & less coviddy. Ok, I've still got the awful cough, bad chest, foggy head, but I do feel less horrid overallHave been busy this morning - stripped the bed, did 2 lots of laundry & line-dried, gathered another colander of tomatoes from my ripening stations, picked pears, blackberries & a courgette, poached another big pan of cinnamon pears & baked blackberry & apple muffins.
That, though is seriously my lot for the day. I've enjoyed a bit of normality as I'm just into my 2nd week of poorliness now, but I'm coughing lots & feeling tired now, so I know it's time to get my sensible pants on & relax, read, stroke cats, whatever.....but no more jobs today. Mr F is cooking dinner & while not symptom-free, he's improved a good deal more than me & is looking forward to returning to work tomorrow. I shall test mid-week. Can't see the point wasting a stick atm.
Right, I'm off to fetch my book to see if I can guess who this skeleton is at the bottom of an Icelandic lake.

Have been away for a few days in Harrogate for my birthday so have just caught up with how poorly you have both been!
Hoping you are feeling more yourself soon. Horrible when you feel like crap and have no energy to do the things you normally take for granted.

Glad that you are feeling a little better today (I was worn out reading what you had achieved!!) and that Mr. F is now testing negative hopefully by Wednesday you will as well. just returned from five lovely days in Suffolk stayed on a farm on the border of Suffolk and Norfolk, I love Southwold and the fish and chips! Had my covid booster today and flu jab booked for Thursday thought I would like to get them both done close together. Have a good week and try and take it steady you have been so poorly and need to take it a little slowly. Take care x6

Thanks everyone - @Kantankrus_Mare - Hope you enjoyed your birthday trip to Harrogate. We are very fond of the RHS garden on the outskirts.
@Four_Seasons - That sounds lovely. All my ancestry is Suffolk/Norfolk. I know the area around Southwold well, as have visited it all my life.

Greetings Frugalistas - Day 9 at the plague house.....though am a solitary plague-bearer today as Mr F has returned to work.
Progress seems slow getting rid of this thing, especially as I don't have any underlying health conditions, but it usually takes me a good 2 weeks to get shot of flu so I'm trying not to get too despondent as this covid pestilence may well be similar.
Anyway, my plan for all of this week is to get various tasks done in the mornings, then rest in the afternoons. It's worked well today. I've done my regular Monday morning budget updates & sorted out a big cash muddle caused by nobody other than myself. I washed the summer duvet as it fits in the machine & have managed to line-dry it in the sunshine. I've baked bread & done garden pickings - a lettuce & some rocket. Oh, & I've made use of a 20% discount code to order a few presents from the list.
I've also cashed out September's P/A earnings & did some thinking about our Christmas food budget, which will also involve nobbling Mr F about turkeys in good time (before the red mist descends.....).
I stuck to my plan to rest in the afternoon. I watched another episode of 'Spiral' & the first one of the Karen Pirie mystery on ITV. Half way through it, I felt sure I had read the book, but it didn't matter as it was a while back & I can't for the life of me remember the ending, so will stick with it. So that definitely counts as resting because that was 3 hours of daytime TV, which is unheard of for me unless I am poorly. I just don't like to sit for so long during the day, & I did start to get fidgetty. However, I will do it gladly if it means I am feeling less lergyfied by the end of this week. I have definitely improved, but having got to a certain stage, I don't seem to be progressing beyond that, & it's frustrating. I must try to be patient.
No effort required for tonight's nosebag - I've already prepared a bowl of salad & Mr F made sufficient food yesterday to feed us for tonight as well, so I shall be able to get my metaphorical popcorn out ready for Channel 4 News.
I can't believe it's Monday again already - what an absolute waste of a week that was!
