A nice walk today through Armadale Woods up to Armadale Hill. Apparently on a clear day there are fantastic views across the water to Mallaig and Knoydart, with the mountains of Ladhar Bheinn and Beinn Sgrith
eall. Sadly today wasn’t one of those

In other news was awake for most of the night as DS1s dog was whelping. Kept in touch via fb messenger. Finally finished at 4am. 1 pup has been in his bosses aga to try and warm up and given puppy milk. Last I heard it was back with mum but DS1 is keeping an eye on it. Don’t know what sex they are as he’s letting mum get on with it

Started to do a walk today but we both decided that we weren’t up for it. The path was really boggy and had been badly churned up by livestock. On the way home stopped to see if be of my favourite couples ( both in their 70s). They insisted on a wee dram and a bite to eat. Well it would’ve been rude not to!

Went back to Talisker beach as the tide was out. Lovely walk down, though the weather was changeable. Had a coffee out then went to the beach on the other side at Glenbrittle. I’d put some beef olives in the slow cooker so tea was nearly done by the time we got home.
