I had a lovely day yesterday. Met a friend for lunch at 1, in the pub. Noticed it was getting a bit dark and said I must go for lightbulbs only to find it was 5.30!!! Got DS2 to drop OH off at the pub as we had a badminton meeting and then got home after 10. Felt so naughty being in the pub for most of the day!
Going to have a look at some different pods on Saturday as I'm doubting myself. I hate it when I do this. Trying to sort out my winter stocking orders which is always a nightmare.

I think for the amount you are investing - it's only natural you want to be certain about the pods.
Glad you had a lovely day.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Decided we're going up to the house in November. Contacted a chap about getting a quote for putting a stove in, which could be next years project. Also contacted the plumber up there re doing the en-suite but they aren't taking any big contracts on. OH left a message with the plumber down here but he hasn't got back to us. So ready for this break!!

Still no news from the plumber. Guests who left yesterday took the key with them and the new ones couldn't get in. Housekeeper took spare one over then had to go again as the heating was playing up. Had a wobble over the pods and went to look at some gorgeous ones which really floated my boat. However at 30k plus delivery and siting you'd probably be looking at 40k each. Accountant gave my head a wobble and we're back on track for the first pods.
Nephew got engaged and the wedding is September 2023 in Southampton. What a ruddy trek! After the driving last time, really hope to fly down.
Had a nice day yesterday after working half a day. A lovely lunch in a different town and then bought DH 2 new shirts for Christmas.
All the chaps went to a ball last night, we had DS1s dog to look after. She's lovely and known as the grandpup and spent the night on our bed.

I'm literally picturing a churchill style bobbing head...
Good that you have an accountant that can help you with decision making.

Had a really sh1tty day. At the moment not sure whether to cry or hit something. I'm not really a crier but I'm so flipping frustrated. Amazon have closed my listings down, 2400 of them, therefore no sales today and pretty doubtful for tomorrow. trying to contact them is like something from mission impossible.
Had a massive parts order delivered with no part numbers on them. A lot of this is new items to list so I'm a bit ion the dark with them.
Collected my new glasses, I'll start wearing them tomorrow. Whilst out a bottle of wine did fall in my basket.
