Decided not to brush the dogs as there was no wind and I’d end up looking like a yeti. Did walk them and I’ve started a different route just over a mile but involves a ruddy great hill to mountaineer up. Hopefully it’ll help to improve fitness level or finish me off!
Baked a not very chocolatey cake for tonight’s stichin’ and 2 lemon drizzles.I made Tarka Dahl (@essexhebridean it took ages to cook on the hob. Is there some dark magic I need to know?) it is very nice.Walked to meet OH on his way back from work.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Cake went down well and OH was pleased I brought some back with me.I managed to plant the bulbs that were on offer. Not sure if they’ll grow but they stand more chance now than they did sitting on the kitchen table.Busy day at work yesterday and more of the same today. House cleaned as it was very hairy. I’m honestly amazed the hounds aren’t bald.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Well done on the cake, house cleaning, walks and pay rise.

No, SH its user error. Awake at silly o’clock thought I’d got over waking at this hour. I’ve found out what my pay rise is for my working from home job. Can’t say I’m overly impressed, in fact completely disappointed is probably more apt. They still want me to do 4 days a week but not yet. I’m once again undecided about that.DD2 has got a lodger moving in. Hopefully that will go ok. She’s hurt her knee playing rugby and went to a&e. Stretched/torn ligaments, rest and ice are prescribed. She’s taking time off work to go lambing at the end of the month, so hoping it’s ok for then. She’s hoping her lambing money will cover the cost of a new boiler.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Did a shift at the b&b last night, had to wait on as well as prep. It went ok a bit out my comfort zone being out front. A
mile walk to a different beach. Soup and a roll in a cafe and then a drive down some roads we’ve never been down for a nosey.
Also got my ear syringed. It’s marvellous now feel like I’ve got Dolby surround sound. Such a relief. Picked up our prescriptions while I was there.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Lovely pics, good news that you are hearing better. Was that done via your GP still? They won't do ear syringing here any longer, has to be done privately now and not cheap 😢2

Yes the practice nurse did it. I don’t think you’d get it done anywhere else on the island.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Work was very quiet last night. Only did 2 meals, tonight looks busier. Hoping to go to yoga and get the dogs out before work. OH has managed to secure a mooring for the boat. Ordered service parts and some other bits it needs. He should be able to service it himself. We’ll need to get a tender to get us to and from it once she’s moored. Just over 2 weeks and DD1 will be here.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Gosh I must be boring everyone to death. Might have to bring the choccy biscuits out to tempt you all back (rustles the packet). Anybody…..?
Nope just me then. A busier night last night and just 3 of us on service. The lady running front of house was a bit panicked but we got through it and it went well. I keep forgetting I’m in tomorrow night instead of Wednesday and I need to collect my Morrisons order before I go. Debating whether to ask OH to swap cars on his way home then I don’t have to unpack it when I’ve finished work.Had planned on doing a longer walk but the weather isn’t playing ball. It does mean I should do the housework today instead of tomorrow as I’m working. OH can do his bit tomorrow.I think I’m going to have a bash at making oat bread today. A lady from work has leant me a a book on bread baking so might have a mooch through that.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013
