Morrisons collection went very well and he was there early. I was armed with my kindle but didn’t get chance to read it. OH is feeling a lot better and just started his next 4 days on. I’m in today and tomorrow 5 till finish.

Boat saga episode 3 rumbles on. Once again the tide and weather were in our favour. OH installed the freshly charged batteries, gently turned the engine over, purred like a kitten. Hit the button to lower the engine down…. Nothing, nada, zilch. The engine wouldn’t lower down into the water. Luckily we were checking this at home. Lifted the cover off the engine, the amount of wires was unbelievable, however there was 1 waggling in the wind that wasn’t connected to anything. It needs something doing with it and we believe this was the culprit for draining the batteries and has now burnt out. Sigh not easy this boat owning malarkey.

Took ourselves off to a local castle and gardens to get some inspiration for planting, if we ever get found to doing the landscaping. Had lunch out and a couple of beers sat in the garden.

Glad that the move has gone well. The chickpea curry sounded good. Well done on the weight loss. Hope the boat is able to launch soon.
