Quietly whispers arm seems to be a bit better. Did a longer shift at new job yesterday, it went ok. I’m in today but only till 5. OH starts his new job tomorrow, hope he likes it.
Got BT here at the moment putting cables in for faster speeds. Don’t actually get connected up until later in the month. Just walked the loop which is about 2 miles.

Pleased you are settling in and getting bits and bobs sorted.
I think your plan with the dentist is sensible -perhaps the waiting list won't be too long.
I hope your arm is ok.

OHs first day went well.  He's been given some uniform but only 1 set.  Not sure how that'll pan out as his working pattern is 4 on 2 off.  There's a chap who lives 5 mins away who's working at the same place but he doesn't want to car share, which is a shame.

There was a shout out on FB, a family had been let down after their hire car broke down.  They had nowhere to stay and the hire company would pay for a taxi back to the mainland.  We offered 2 rooms but they managed to get sorted.  Not sure what our dog would've made of their pooch but we have a cage.

Currently on hold to Morrisons.  I've tried to register an account for click and collect.  You meet the van in a local car park and get your goodies.  I've put my postcode in, said they didn't deliver to this area, fair enough.  I put my bosses post code in who gets 4 plus deliveries a week and it still doesn't deliver to this area.  Slightly frustrating!!!

This is awful!  Why did they have to change it. Unless I’m being dense I’m finding it really hard to navigate.

Yesterday was interesting, I was left to run the kitchen on my own. Luckily they didn’t tell me till I got there or I would’ve been stressing!! I did go round with a rabbit in the headlights kind of look for a little while. I managed but definitely out of my comfort zone. Then the next one was, ‘I need a vegan dish. Please can you make something’. Google was my friend and I rustled up a chickpea curry and it was very nice if I do say so myself!
it’s a nice day so we’re both off and going to launch the boat on her maiden cruise (hope the bl00dy thing floats!)

Since we moved we’ve really concentrated on healthy eating in 2 weeks I’ve lost 11 lbs and OH lost 10ths. Very pleased. When DD1 comes up at the end of August I hope she notices as we haven’t said anything.

Going to cook brekky and find my sea legs!
