Oh wow - L that IS exciting but I can certainly see why you'd also feel a bit - melancholy , is that a good word? - about it too. The business has been such a focus, and you've invested so much in it emotionally as well as the financial side…it must feel very strange to think of other people now being responsible for the decisions that previously you would have made. I should think it will take a little while to settle into the new state of affairs.
Fab news about the boat too - and having jobs lined up and ready and waiting. It's all coming together isn't it!

Lots happening for you. I understand the strange feeling of handing your business over - it's a transition time for you. When I went down to part time work I spent a month handing over my old job to my replacement and whilst I didn't want the old job anymore it still felt odd.Hope the babysitting is enjoyable.2

Hello BC. It did get a bit easier as the week went on and talking to them they were as equally nervous coming in. Sadly the babysitting hasn’t happened as GF wasn’t feeling very well so she didn’t go to the event as planned.I’m planning to change my car and I’m sick of looking at garages, it’s all become a bit of a blur.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Went to the garden centre today. DD1 bought some veg plants and liquid feed. We’re going to bake egg shells as a slug deterrent. I bought her 3 blueberry plants to go in tubs. Sorted OHs Spotify out at Vodafone, it wasn’t as complicated as mine. We took DD1s dog to get some socialisation in. She did really well. Went to Home Bargains and they only had 1 bag of ericacious compost which was damaged, so the blueberries will have to stay in pots for now. Hopefully get some next weekend. It still feels very strange not working ( for us) at the weekends. Made 4 lemon drizzle cakes 1 for a birthday, 1 to take to work and 2 to munch on.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

So glad we replaced our cars when we did - looking at the same thing now we'd be paying more by several thousand pounds for the same makes and models we have! Crazy to see second hand prices actually increase over a 3 year timespan!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
