Why are things never easy?  So the chap has been to install the TVs.  First he accidentally smashed a lamp (he'll knock something off the bill).  Finally got ready for the big switch on and the TV has got damaged in transit so the screen is knackered.  OK, we'll think about what we want to do, whether we get a replacement or go Sky Glass which we had made enquiries about.  Onto TV in our bedroom, we both realised that there wasn't an aerial, that's sortable.  The wall mounting he'd brought for that TV was too big.  So as a compromise because he didn't have the correct size with him we thought we'd put that one in the living room.  Where's the cable?????? As I didn't pack it and we haven't seen one knocking around we really aren't sure where it is.  Sigh.  Today isn't going to plan.

Whilst he was attempting to install the TVs, DD1 brought some apples over last night.  I've made 2 apple crunches, prepped some veg to be roasted whilst the ovens on and also prepped tonights tea of beef olives.

I'm still trying to sort the finances out for the new house and get some DDs and SOs in place.  On a 0% credit card the balance is £1270.  Technically this is DD1s debt as she bought a car and I put it onto a 0% card.  She pays me back £200 a month but I've been overpaying it as the interest free ends in November.  At the moment I'm on target to clear it and she'll carry on paying me back.

My savings pots look like this:
Car £1885 pay in  £120 pm
Emergency fund £760 pay in £50 pm
Christmas £910 pay in £100 pm
Holibobs £2255 pay in £260 pm
white goods £285 pay in £5 pm
Trips £115 pay in £50 pm (this is eating out, cinema)
glasses £160 pay in £5 pm
vet £45 pay in £5 pm (need to up this as dog is getting spayed at end of October)
Clothes £115 pay in £50 pm
dentist £160 pay in £5 pm
premium bonds £4500 pay in £50 pm

On the dentist one we pay £50 per month for check ups and hygienist.  It doesn't cover crowns and as I have one thought I'd better save up for if it happens.

Well bitten the bullet and got Sky glass, its just been delivered and will hopefully be up and running on Thursday.  Wardrobes arrived on Saturday, DS2s is up but had to send mine back as it was too big.  OOps.  Need to sort that out today, order a smaller one and possible get it with drawers.

Tomorrow is an awful day of lots of running about.  I've got to drop the dogs off at DS1s as his GF is going to look after them overnight.  Pick DS2s suit up and get a black tie.  DS1 and DD2 are going in her car and we've got DS2 and DD1 in ours but she won't finish work until later.  Sister in law wants to see us tomorrow night before the funeral on Wednesday.  Then we have the day itself.  It was my sister in laws Birthday on Saturday she turned 60, words fail me at how life is.

The service went very well and there was standing room only.  My sil has been amazing, I wish there was more we can do to help.  I mentioned that we're hoping to go north in November and we'd love her to come.  Something for her to think about nearer the time.

Hoping to get the TVs up and running today.  I also need to go and collect the mutts from DS1 once the teles have been sorted.  Its wet and miserable here so need to keep myself entertained.  A meal plan and shopping list to sort.  Omelettes for tea with ham and cheese and probably salad.
