Found a new dog walk which I can do on the way to and from work, so that's good. Just waiting to have everything delivered fitted this week and then hopefully more progress can be made on boxes. I decided to take the weekend off from unpacking as I seem to have everything I need.
It looks like the chaps have had a great time in Croatia, DD1 is coming over on Wednesday for a catch up plus she'll want feeding! Think I might do a chicken and the trimmings. I need to check that DS1s Gf will look after the dogs when we go to the funeral. OH has sorted out the accommodation for 1 night. Just need to rally the troops and get them there.

That does look pretty. I've never successfully got crocosmia to grow (the one at the front) despite it supposedly thriving on neglect...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Congratulations on the new house Lucielle, sounds like you are settling in nicely after a stressful time.
Very sorry to hear about your BIL though, MND is a cruel, cruel disease. Tragic.

Only remembered to do the dog walk when I shot past the junction!! Did manage a U turn and did it. Happy pooches and I remembered on the way home. OH built the 2 new shoe racks that arrived today, that meant another 2 boxes unpacked. Not much more unpacking can be done until the wardrobes arrive on Saturday. I keep imagimimg how much stuff they'll take and then have to remind myself its not a Tardis!
I've finally managed to find out who my electric supplier is and its British Gas, not my favourite one to deal with especially after being on hold for an hour and put through to the wrong department 3 times. Direct debit is set up for £105 not sure this enough. Flo gas is £120, never had gas before and this isn't through the mains. Council tax is £167 over 10 months. Still not finished but glad to have a few things in place even though they wont start till October.
