A friend of my sisters in Khazakstan bought a house (no mean feat over there apparently) and was left a car in the garage!
You may be thinking that it was worth nothing, but apparently it was perfectly roadworthy and legal to drive on the roads. any car in Kazakstan was a prised possession. For the UK - read Porsche!
Oh, and btw, we were also left a concrete garden roller in this house - sorry forgot to add that to the list.....Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
I would go to the EA but only after you've exchanged. Just explain the situation and the buyer might be understanding. If it's worth something they may be OK with it as they should at least be able to give it away.
Alternitively, why not put it on Freecycle to be removed the day you move out??
I contacted the buyer through the EA and they were happy for me to leave the unwanted furniture behind, so no worries! Good job really as the whole room is now full of boxes...0 -
Does anyone in East Cornwall want a dining table? I'm still trying toget rid of the one that was left in our new house. Free to a good home,Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0
