I was going to submit online via the gateway which I am part way through doing. Would emailing be best?

the gateway destroys the formatting and only allows a limited number of characters , which you would already know if you had studied post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread
you would and should listen to your peeers and do as we tell you , if you want to win
it is time that the gateway allowed people to upload their defence as a pdf , but email is by far the best method, providing it is signed and dated or an electronic signature added0 -
No-one says to put the defence in using MCOL. The NEWBIES thread explains why not and all other defence threads talk about emailing it as a signed/dated document to the CCBCAQ email.

agreed, no reason why you cannot just use that defence in post #4 , or that same defence with the amendments suggested a few posts lower down the page
then print it , sign it , scan it , save as a pdf and email it , tonight , asap0 -
