I’ve been so good for the past week or so making best use of what I have, but had to do a top up shop (£8.55) at the weekend and today (£4.09) just because I couldn’t resist some of the YS’s in T€sc0
So another £12.64 to add to my total = £53.52, it's going to be tight and I also need to get some household/cleaning stuff too.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £119.54
Aug - Grocery spends = £22.180 -
I have a Tesco shop coming which is roughly going to be 79.14, and i have also spent 3.95 in the local shop. I have some random receipts to add also, from purchases in B and M, work and Morrisons (thankfully all small).
I will need to stock up whilst off college/work during Easter, as Ocado have all the stuff i normally buy on offer. Hopefully April will be a lot lighter on the purse.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July ££110.46/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Another £21.82 today, in Morries, Aldi and B&M, taking friend to dentist near shops, but got 3 1/2 lamb shoulders and some washing up liquid all for store. Got some parsnips and swede for small freezer.
Just done a big freezer list and should have enough meats for April.Do I need it or just want it.0 -
Small spend yesterday by me at the local C!op on milk and butter and DH got two ys packets of branded cheese crackers (50p each, down from £1.39 each) at the local convenience store. Total spend £4.23.
I shouldn't need anything else until Friday as I have everything in stock for the rest of the week's meal plan and I'm also concentrating on using up LOs and bits & bobs from the fridge. This morning I used the blender to whizz up some LOs of last night's corned beef hash with the last bit of hm veg soup and a dash of Hendersons Relish, so now we have a "free" soup for tomorrow's lunch.Be kind to others and to yourself too.0 -
Since last post we have spent £20.98.
Me - £67.65/£77.50. £9.85 left.
OH - £34.80/£77.50. £42.70 left.
Total - £102.45/£155. £52.55 left.
I shouldn't need to buy anything but bananas and grapes for the rest of the month but we'll see.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy0 -
Spent £1.67 on some peppers and Vitalite. I'm on £25.63. If I'm to make my store-cupboard challenge of £29 (£7 pw), then that's £3.37 left. Where I'm working at the mo, I get breakfast and lunch and loads of (bakery) cakes, (if I want them) and have to fight the temptation to graze all day. I can take food home too, though I haven't (yet), usually a vegan option, so really no need to be buying anything, so might just spend the last few pence Monday, my month ends Thursday. Have updated sig.0

Hello everyone,
I've been crazily busy at work for the last two weeks. I've kept receipts, so will be able to add it all up. I did slip a bit and buy more than was needed, and visited the shops more often. Not ridiculously bad, but not as good as I should've been. Oh well.
Had a nice (read easy and quick) dinner tonight, and the bonus is that there's enough left for lunch tomorrow and Friday. I love meals that keep on giving!!
Am trying hard not to spend too much more. Need to shop on Sunday, but will only buy the bare minimum to get through the rest of the month.
I reckon I'm doing a heap-ton better than people who aren't even trying to reduce spending, so there's that...!

A$da order done but went over slightly, well about £20. But I'll take that this month. Unfortunately, my menu choices aren't very inventive, hopefully that will get better. I always think that when the clocks go back I feel I have more time in the evenings and can be a bit more productive.
Reading everyone's posts, one thing I do miss about having a delivery is finding those YS items. Might need to start calling in after work one evening.
So, payday next week and I will be making cheese scones and catching up with lots of chores and MSE tasks.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10
