Morning all

Sunny here again today, but very cold
Today's list looks like this;
HG cooked fruit from freezer for breakfast instead of bought fresh fruit
Load of washing in machine, ready to peg outside when done
Carrot and coriander soup made for lunch
Quick tidy round - DD and kids are appearing soon, so no point going mad!
Checked banks
Ordered tickets for an event we always attend - not an expensive one - and cheaper if tickets are bought in advance. Also avoids huge queues to pay on the day!
I have YS chicken to do something with for dinner! Roasted chicken thighs with potato wedges from scratch, peas, sweetcorn and tomatoes. There were 8 chicken thighs in the YS pack, I cooked 2 for OH, 2 for brother and 1 for me, and froze the rest, as there is enough there for OH and I to have another meal
Washing dry
Managed a few surveys
Wrangled kids
And that is about it!
Not sure if I will get anything else done....0 -

Lunch from stores, dinner likewise.
Heatings on it's freezing!0 -

I suspect I have the same lergy as Foxgloves and feel absolutely dreadful. Today we have:
Checked Bank & made PAD
Pamper session - shower, face mask, deep conditioned hair, painted nails (not brilliantly but this has not happened much over the last 48 years as am/was a nail biter), lots of moisturiser used (esp on my lovely red nose and lips)
DH put up bird box (I won last year)
DH washed car
All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
Checked: Tombola Stars, Luckyphone, Luckybob, FPL
Night all.

Morning all :hello:
Few money saving bits for today:
Smalls to prepaid swimming lessons
Sign up to trial of headspace, thanks to a kind lady :A
Washing done overnight, will peg out
'Free' roast today using some sliced pork from a previous roast and 4 Yorkshire puddings we've accumulated from previous batches out of freezer. Veg from veg box
Small shop for rest of the week, have already done list based on meal plan
Make cheese scones after yesterday's talk, not done this before but looks straightforward
Get out in garden and have a bit of a tidy
Go to new gym to make use of membership, can't use actual gym, but will use swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Membership cheaper than last place and we can walk here, saving petrol and car parking fees :T
DH is going to decorate skirting and doors in our room, ready for carpet.
Hope everyone ok.0 -
Morning folks
I hope that all the lurgies are clearing up.
Didn't manage to post for a couple of days. I'm feeling pretty weird at the moment. Was totally zonked yesterday - just couldn't really get going. Felt perky til about 11am then just crocheted for the rest of the day, ignoring all the bits that I should have been doing instead
Today I'm back in work. And there are no more Saturdays to work for the foreseeable future! Hooray! The overtime money is good but I'd rather just not be in work.
MSEness is not very good at the moment. Seems like the more I worry about saving money, the more of it I spend! Anyway, today is a new day and I can nibble at things one at a time.
Today's mission:- B/L/D from stores.
- Ask OH to bring me a healthy egg butty - done
- Poss go for a run at lunchtime. Forgot my P.E. kit so OH will have to bring it. - forgot to ask
- Not go to cafe after work
- Charge phone in work - done
- Be CLAM

- Crochet if my hands feel ok (I overdid it yesterday and my hands and wrists are aching a bit)
- No alcohol
- Reconcile budget sheet with OH

Morning all,
Thanks for your well wishes. Day 9 of the lergy & I am no better. Mr f took one look at me & told me to stay in bed & that is pretty much all I feel fit for. We had planned to go out to a snowdrop event today & am gutted not to be well enough. So not much going on here today:
*'Free' roast dinner using the last of the turkey slices in gravy I froze at Christmas.
*Finish jumper. I have picked up all the stitches for the cowl neck & just need to do 20cm rib before casting off & sewing the pieces together.
*Set washing machine timer for overnight wash on the cheap tariff.
*Think about starting a diary on the DFW Diaries board.
*Top up bathroom cupboard with products from my toiletries stash.
*Think about what to knit next.......no new yarn purchases are going to be happening, so will be a project from my stash.
Such a pathetic list from me at a time of year when I'd be outside scrubbing the greenhouse, making planting plans, digging, having bonfires, etc. This is one horrid lergy.
Hope you turn a corner with yours soon, Ziggy.
And love to everyone else.
