Hi Guys and thanks for the continued support. Been a quiet couple of weeks for me not much spent but not much paid either. managed to pay a extra £10 off of the SSE debt yesterday courtesy of swagbucks so thats now down to £420 and will be gone completely come pay day :). had a conference in oxford yesterday lunch provided and mileage paid for by work leaving me with about £25-£30 extra once i put the fuel in so that will be going towards something most likely SSE. Almost the weekend and looking forward to spending some time getting the garden sorted with the small people.

hope every one is well and has a great weekend :)

    Hi Hysteria,

Just came across your diary and wanted to offer my congrats on your fantastic achievement to date.

I came across MSE less than a month ago and from reading some of the diaries, I was inspired to do exactly what you have been doing and start paying off the bills, which have been accumulating for a good number of years. I guess you could say I had my LBM!

Started off with just under €29k (currently based in London till the summer but debts are in Ireland) and between raiding a few small savings accounts and cashing out some stocks that weren't doing as well as I hoped, I've managed to get it down to just over €22k. I'm hoping this will be down to just under €21k by the end of the month.

My DFD is currently August 2019 but who knows, maybe that will change. Really feeling the need to get on the property ladder, which is what made me come online looking for advice / support / encouragement. Rest assured that you are not in the boat alone, as I have found out from this site. It really is amazing what a little bit of motivation can do.

Keep up the good work. I've subscribed to your diary so looking forward to seeing your progress over the coming months.

    Scooby :)

productive few days for me got a ton of stuff listed on ebay and also cleared another £20 Off of sse this morning making that a nice round £400 owed which will be gone completely come Wednesday also had a job interview today which went quite well so optimistic on that as it would also increase my income by around 12k a year which would be huge for me. should hopefully hear back from them early next week.
couple of days in the garden planned for the weekend to make the most of this beautiful weather.

    hope everyone is well :)
