Thanks MF and Lucielle
My meeting went okay. I then had 3 informal meetings - all 4 meetings within 3.5 hours. I was yawning as I drove home - and starving! I ate a quick jacket spud and then dozed for half a hour - I was completely wiped! I then did a little more urgent work. Could do with doing a bit more before my meeting tomorrow am - I haven't even read the papers for the meeting and I'm supposed to e leading it! I also have a report I haven't written that was due today but it will have to wait.
I've just been to physio and she really kneaded the back of my leg which now feels like it's on fire. I've taken my teatime pain relief but it's not settling yet. Might end up taking extra tablets later. She said my leg was now making a 'crackling' noise - which while it might sound scary to me was apparently a positive sign. She also felt I was doing the right amount of activity and has given me some suggestions of what to do at the gym - water only for the first 2 weeks (for my legs) and then graduate to 3 minutes rowing or some cycling and then stop even if I feel I can carry on and see what the next day impact was. She felt my leg swelling had gone down a little again - which is good as the swelling is quite unsightly as well as what it represents. We've booked another session for after I've seen a specialist next week. She thinks I need an urgent MRI and other tests. Will see how it goes. Wiped now!
£75 paid off a CC today. Will update my signature. Food delivery should come soon. DD is having an intro session with a personal trainer - if that goes well we've said we will pay for some sessions for her to encourage her to get fit - but also we hope that it will be a form of social / informal counselling / confidence boosting for her. Will see how it goes. Poor DH was in work for 5.30am today and he's had to ferry her around so he's not impressed! I had to wake him up to take her but my leg feels like someone is torching it - so I am currently resting!.

Lucielle - stop eating that crap! That will be £20 please LOL. Paid for DD to have 5 sessions for £100 - she is going to have them fortnightly so that should last almost 2.5 months. DD is off today as she has been excused from going on a trip. Despite that she was up early having only slept an hour - I feel for her.
My pain relief kicked in eventually last night - I took an extra one at bedtime. Leg still feels more painful today than this time yesterday - but again hope pain relief will kick in soon. Have to go to work now - but feel behind - so feel like I'm running to catch up and I haven't even got there yet. Best make myself go. Taking lunch today so if I end up stuck longer than planned I can still take pain relief. There seems to be a theme in this paragraph - oh well. Let's hope we all get some sunshine. It is starting to get lighter in the evenings too.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

DH just took pooch around the block. DD liked the personal trainer - she has a proper session tomorrow. We're at the gym Friday. I also have the dentist for a filling that day. Got a few positive comments on my glasses which was nice. Work has said OHU will just discuss how to support me with my leg not MH stuff so happier about that. I got complimented on the meeting I ran yesterday by a couple of senior managers. Someone apologised to me for something from last week which was also nice - I hadn't really held onto it - but she was right I had felt a comment she made at the time. So other than the pain it was actually a good day. The 3 of us spent time together.
DS didn't get the hotel job he went for but did get the bar one - and bonus the bar pays weekly so that should help him a lot. He now needs to sort his OD out by consolidating to a loan before the rates rocket. He says he may come home to see his branch of the bank to sort it out. I pity him when he sees his room - as my stuff from my study is all dumped in there! As you can imagine I have no energy to sort that currently. Oh well tomorrow is another day.....

Thanks DIA and Lucielle - I did some more reading on the internet about my medication and she started me on 300mg but it would be safe at 1800-3600mg (they would just give you bigger tablets). I think because the cocodomol kept me awake all night she was relunctant to go in too high. I ended up taking 600mg yesterday. I think I will now base my meds on 600mg a day and see if that controls the pain better and if not go higher - unless it makes me drowsy/affects my ability to drive.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
