Feel blessed today as Ex has gone in to work 2 days on the run - so I haven't needed to and can conserve my fuel. Our cleaner comes today too which is positive. We get on well and she is very supportive of me.
Today's song of the day Sing for my life... by S1@.
I need to dig through my freezer to find what I want to eat... Thinking chilli and then veggy pasta later. Hopefully I can have another NSD. There's no reason for me to spend £ today. Trying to make it to Friday with no new spending. I may go and look for some apples in the back garden as I fancy some fruit.

Oh how annoying about the mortgage, fingers crossed it's sorted quickly now.
Glad you had a good trip and lovely of your sister to offer the support.
Love the decluttering, especially when it involves ice cream!

Now need to provide 6 months of bank statements Could be fun... As I had about 10 accounts during the period - and I may not have access to all of them as we split our accounts in July. May need to ask Ex to run some!! Off to investigate!!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Tsk - c'mon SH, you know better than to take ANY notice of "credit scores" - fairy tales, the lot of them!
Definitely sounds positive that they are in the process of doing something now anyway - even if it IS giving you hassle like needing to find bank statements. do you need to provide details of all those accounts as I would imagine all they want would be your active current account(s) plus any savings accounts which might be relevant - for example if you're paying any fees upfront from savings? Well worth checking with the Mortgage broker - sometimes providing too much can be as problematic as providing too little.

I am in the process of conserving fuel as well. Trying to teach Nest not to come on at random times. Glad things are going in the right direction, if somewhat slowly. What I do not give, you must never take by force.

My goodness, how have you managed to breathe over the last few days. Talk about up and down reading your updates! The lender / underwriter isn't leaving any stone unturned. Hopefully it's just a rubber stamp needed and the word offer appear very soon.
I'm pleased there was emergency frozen sweet treats that had to be eaten and the freezer keeps producing nice lucky dip meals for you.
Try and cook larger portions to freeze some after doing your shopping, then you've got back ups for tighter months or for when you haven't the energy to cook from scratch after work.
It will all work out soon.

Thanks MF. Definitely a rollercoaster. I had to work late to catch up on my earlier extended lunch break. Off to the balance class shortly. Looking forward to that.
Ex is down and with no kids around to distract/dilute things I will be glad to be out the house for a bit. Still in the free gym period until third week of November. I might be using it more to get out the house as much as anything.
I had to do another free trial to pdf stuff so need to cancel at end of this week. Both of them...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
