Great news for DD.If you are exhausted then you should take Friday off. You need to prioritise looking after yourself. It's lovely having a clean and tidy house and even better if you come home to it rather than having to do it yourself.

Thanks everyone. Booked tomorrow off. May try to get to a beach... Depends how early I wake up. Changed counselor today. Think this one will suit me better. Very black humour so fits me better.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

The right counselor makes a huge difference, being on the same wavelength is a must.

Hope you had a nice day off, and have a lovely weekend x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3

Thanks guys. Well I took 4 bags to the charity shop the other day. I have now filled another 2 and a box. DH has decluttered the garage and hoovered. I've been upping my steps significantly and am now at 84943 steps for July. While I hit 99913 in the whole of June - for comparison in May I was half that. Hopefully it will pay off in weightloss and improved health.
DS was mis-sold his job so jacked it. Has an interview for another job this Wednesday but if he doesn't get that we will need to make him get a quick paying job. He owes us £230 already - and due to other pressures we need that money - partly to give to DD to help her get set up for her new job. Really hope nothing goes wrong with that job offer.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

sorry to hear about DS. I did wonder about how legit it was from what you were saying. Good for him for not getting dragged in. Good luck balancing it allI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Well done taking things to charity and for the amount of steps you're doing, both are great achievements.
Hope DS's interview comes good, fingers and toes crossed. Stay positive about DD, it will work out.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4
