Love the picture of the sand and pebbles. Never fails to amaze me how the sea can sculpt the sand like that.
Sounds really positive that your DD feels ready to move out. Does this mean that your plan to move to the country might be more feasible?
Hope that you have a good day today...thinking of you.

Meeting with boss went well. Spoke to GP too. Likely to do reduced hours for a while. I worked about 5 hours today at friend's house but was so wiped didn't feel safe to drive the few miles home until around 9pm. DH appreciated the effort though and we had a nice chat.
May put overnight bag in car in case as tired tomorrow. Struggling with sensory overload currently and sleeping badly. Enjoyed the peace and quiet at friend's house (while she is away). Cleaner returns this week after 3 weeks off which should help too as there will then be less nagging jobs in my eye line.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Paid £257 off debt yesterday - leaving target card at £1K. Another £75 is due to come off that this month too which will leave it at a max of £925 at the end of the month. Going to download an excel version of our statement from our bank and work out where we are at. I heavily depleted our EF and put all accommodation on a CC - but we will pay that off in month so not counting that as part of debt. Our other CC is ticking along at about -£14 pcm. It has under £1400 left to pay...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Whatever it takes, self-preservation is a high priority. Soak up the colours, smells and close your eyes while doing it, really let that memory stick, even if it takes repeat attempts.
The roses are gorgeous!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.6
