Thanks MF. Things will work out. Lovely day again here. DH had to go into work but hardly anyone there so should be safe. He went on his motorcycle for the first time since lockdown so was looking forward to it. Paid £75 off CC todayAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

So much veg. I'm jealous. I managed to grow some beetroot and so happy with that I would be overexcited if I had a whole veg plot.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Can you not try a couple of other people for patio quotes, before making a final decision.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1

Last night stopped taking one tablet and was literally awake all night (withdrawal) not good. It was bright outside too. Lovely day again outside. Watered veggies. Need to work again now.
Money is doing okay should end month with £1k EF even if have to pay uni. Still not heard from them or the chairs since end of April.

Great that you can see your parents again.Having £1k EF irrespective of chairs/accom is fantastic. It is so frustrating that you can’t get an answer on anything, that would really annoy me!

Great news on the EF, well done.
It will be lovely to see your parents, we went over to mine last night and sat in the garden with them it was so nice to get everyone together even though we could still use a hug!
Have a lovely day, H x

Thanks Echo and HM
I took pooch for a walk before they came. At DD's request we had a roast chicken dinner beforehand. My parents stayed a couple of hours. We just sat in the garden but it went cold so we used the fire pit too and as the evening wore on played with our new lights. I slept like a log last night didn't even hear the rain when it hammered down. Of course I left the newly washed seat covers outside! Doh! It's still nice and bright and lush outside despite the rain. Being on a water meter and a gardener I'm grateful for free water. We're considering getting a water butt for on the down pipes.
P@ypl have taken the £ for the scam item - so hope they refund it - it showed as unclaimed and let me cancel it Saturday. DD was stung with courier, VAT and import duty on her clothes £59 for £140 of clothes!!! We've told her she had best get cleaning LOL. DS's business venture seems to be going amazingly well. He got £1K for the first month which in this climate when we didn't think he would earn anything is fab. That was only working around 50 hours too - so there's scope for more if he puts the effort in. He's treating one lot of stuff as bread and butter - and the other that he is learning as the jam - so he would say he's putting the effort in - just not paid for the jam element yet. I now need to make myself work.

Your evening sounds fabulous and just what everyone needed.
We are using an old bin as a water butt, the ones running off your pipes are supposed to be good, if a little pricey.
Have you raised a PP dispute to get your money back? If not, do that too.
OMG, make sure DD only buys things from over here, as them charges are horrid and often catch people out 😔
Good grief, I think we all want DS' jobs, if that's the hours for the income!
Hope you have a good day.
