Wow productive indeed - and I'm feeling quite envious of your garden which sounds fabulous!
Sorry to hear that so many people are having problems with prescriptions - I'm at the end of my repeat and do wonder whether the surgery will just extend without an appointment - all three items are long term although I am meant to have regular blood tests, but nobody ever bothers referring me for them. If they insist I need a blood test this time before the repeat is reissued then I'll be making a flipping good case for absolutely not wanting to go anywhere NEAR either of the hospitals right now! I'll need to check the date my next issue would be due at some point so I can get the request for the extension in on the dot in case I need to have a telephone appointment anyway - it certainly won't be in person at the surgery at the moment. I do want to get the best value from my pre-payment card though - I get a three monthly one roughly every 5 months and can usually space my prescriptions to fit within those times which is handy.
On the coming off HRT thing SH do plenty of research around the reasons the GP is saying it - there are a huge number of benefits to being on it so you do need to be sure that you feel that coming off it is the best thing for you.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Wow a busy weekend, I didn't do much at all yesterday so made up for it today. Hope you get all the meds sorted.

Hi SSDD23, EH and Hugglemonster
I am really grateful for outdoor space currently. Our garden is 'plant' rather than grass heavy. I mostly like it - it just had got a bit out of control. Now I've realised I can take a chair into the garden and sit on that to prune or weed I feel like I can do more - although I have left some interesting grooves in the front lawn today. I worked on my day job from home and then made the most of sunshine (woohoo) and did some pruning and weeding. Really pleased as I have daffodils, red tulips, purple/blue grape hyacinth and pansies coming up at the moment. Blue forget-me-nots are also in flower. We have yellow jasmine which looks cheerful too. There are worse times of year to be in lockdown. We also have a pale pink clematis about to flower.
Grateful for plantings of previous years at the moment. I do need to water my pots believe it or not as they are bone dry. Need to top up their soil ideally but would need help for that. I have one bag of compost that I would need to stretch so can only replace the top inch or so of pots. I had our dog out with me on the front (in a cul-de-sac) but she behaved really well. I also talked to a neighbour from the end of his drive (a few doors up from us).
Really pleased to report that a friend of mine who was very ill at home with the virus is now largely recovered after 2 weeks and 'returned to work' still from home today. It's a big relief as I was really concerned about her. She and her husband were strict on the isolation and the rest of the family don't appear to have caught it. They wiped down all switches, handles etc in common areas daily. God help us literally if we got it - as we are not good at those kind of daily activities at the best of times. Stay hoe stay safe guys.

With the HRT if they won't let you stay on tablets they may allow you to have patches. My sister still uses them & she is 70. An extremely fit one mind you!

Hi Savingholmes, just been catching up with your diary. Glad you're making the most of your garden during lockdown. Hope you manage to get your prescriptions sorted so that that's one less thing to worry aboutMortgage-free wannabe 2025 £571/30003

Thanks Becky and Bad Memory
DH took DS to the chemist for me. Got 2-3 months supply of all but two drugs - 1 of those they are only allowed to give 28 days at a time. The other was patches - the chemist said wouldn't be able to get them for months! I am thinking of alternating days and coming off HRT if I can as I am now on a lot of meds and therefore at higher risk... It was a relief to get the rest of the meds.
I used some gold spray paint on some dried stems yesterday and sprayed the canvas beneath them. I then brushed the stems with purple paint and used them to try printing. Some were more successful than others - but I enjoyed it and slept more quickly afterwards.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

The meds situation is a concern, I've had one of mine swapped out. I was previously taken off it as I get constant migraines on them.
I'm glad you have managed to get what you needed. Would it be possible to leave the patch on for an extra day or so before replacing it? That way you still get a small benefit and can make them last a bit longer? (I will admit I know nothing about HRT)
Your art sounds good, how is it looking today?

Will post a photo later. Currently awaiting a call from consultant. Nearly an hour late. Not judging just reality. I rang to check they have my number after 30 mins. They do. Hard to focus on my work while I wait for the call though.
Bright sunshiney day outside. Not gone out yet. Dh took pooch for a walk earlier. Thankfully DS cooked English breakfast for lunch. He is a great cook. DD is helping with the washing. DH and I both trying to work but hard todayAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well got call eventually. There had been confusion over who was ringing me as person off sick. They had MRI but said report was missing. They will get report and call me back in the next few days. Also see paintings from last night.
