BEST: Cold cream... so cheap and removes ALL of my make up in a couple of swipes!
WORST: Home Highlighting... I needed to save some cash so a friend of mine suggested that I buy a home highlighting kit, and she'd help me... it was a disaster... I had uneven strips all thoughout my hair! :rotfl:

Best - Palmers Cocobutter - got rid of a lot of my chickenpox scars (wore a sleeveless top for the first ime in public since I was 11 this summer and i'm 20)
Worst - Hairdye. I bought a new cheap brand that said you needed to put it in a cap, never did this before, went a range of semi-fully bleached areas! Was an interesting range of blondes for a while.~*Cerenia*~

Worst I've ever seen is to rub strawberries/lemon rind/ other acidic fruits on your teeth to whiten them.
This was given on one of the BBC's daytime programs!
It will errode your tooth enamel to nothing in very quick time.
The best? Don't know - but then I'm beautiful enough as I am!How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -

Best Lush's H`Suan Wen Hua (no really, that's how you spell it) occasional hair treatment/deep conditioner. FAN-blimmin-TASTIC. And your hair smells like Christmas cake afterwards (brucie bonus
)
Worst Using an ash gray hair shader to tone down some too light yellow highlights. I ended up with a head full of blue stripes

Ponds cold cream was on offer in Superdrug today at 2 for £5 (£3.99 each)0

I'm sure I've seen Pond's Cold Cream in various £1 / 99p shops
Good tip, think I'll give it a go.
Have you tried Redken Butter Treat Penny Watcher?? Just want to know if your Lush recommendation comes close to it.0 -

I was told about stawberries whitening your teeth and have often rubbed them over my teeth - that explains a lot. Whilst I would never consider rubbing lemon rind on my teeth I had never thought of strawberries being acidic!0 -
My Aunt bought me book called "How to be Beautiful" for Christmas (how rude).
I eventually calmed down and decided not to ceremoniously burn it - instead I thought I'd treat myself on my birthday and do a homemade facemask "for sensitive skin" made from mashed avacado and rose oil.
My face exploded in huge red blotches! I had to take an emergency dosage of antihystamines just to get back to normal in time for my party :-DMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

No I haven't. Is it good?
This is the link for the H`Suan Wen Hua on the Lush website.

(Reading the ingredients list it must be the cinnamon leaf oil, eggs and bananas that remind me of Christmas cake:rudolf:)
