What would you like me to offer? Misdelivery of correctly addressed mail can only really be human error.
If you want me to rant then ask me about Christmas cards! Honestly between horrendous hand writing, writing in gold/silver ink (usually on red envelopes) thats the sorting machines cant read, wrong addresses or simply made up addresses.
RM spends a fortune in man hours hand sorting Christmas cards. The majority that are not delivered as simply through illegible or incomplete addresses.0 -

From past years the Xmas cards would have perfectly legible, correct addresses, at least one would have been typewritten. To have 4 go missing is very unusual, especially as I've always received cards from these people for many years. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

As you have spent many yrs working for RM I wondered if you had come across anything similar, the thought of theft had crossed my mind, although with the known wrong deliveries, I think this is probably the case and the recipients may have just binned the cards.
Many years ago my employer had to do a large official mailshot and received several empty mailsacks from RM to facilitate RM collection. One of the sacks contained 2 or 3 letters postmarked several months previous. I presume that this would no longer happen as don't RM have a policy of turning sacks inside out after delivery happened. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

There could be dozens of possible reasons. Would me listing them give you your items? or a way of locating them?
Rm has always had a policy of checking sacks are empty.0 -
When I moved, I sorted out redirection with Royal mail and have had no problem. Within days my bills etc were transferred to the new address!
The mail for the previous occupier was sent back in the first two weeks as not known. Then burnt in my incinerator! I'm not responsible for the previous owner, and neither is RM, as they only deliver to the address written on the letter/0 -

But it's not a redirection issue, it is all mail that should be coming to the property that is not arriving, whether redirected or directly addressed.0 -
Quick update as promised. I went to the sorting office today and they couldnt have been less interested. I got the old ...wait a week and come back if you still havent received anything... They refused to accept any liability, hardly listened to my story and then told me that it must be that the people who have told us theyve sent stuff actually havent sent it. Yep, so the DVLA, Scottish Power, Power, NS&I, DHs employer etc. etc. are all lying about sending things to us in the post. I gave up, came home and lodged a formal complaint over the phone. Apparently they should contact me within 72 hours so I cant wait to hear back from that one!
Sorry about missing apostrophes, posting from my phone and those horrible formatting errors are making the post hard to read.0 -

Did you speak to a manager or just the postie on the door?
If the postie then the complaint will go to the manager of the unit.
Complaint performance is a KPI and those KPIs impact bonus
Another avenue is Twitter, seen good responses/results via Twitter and if they go to the delivery office its via a different complaints chain.0 -
Have you received the letter you sent to yourself on the 2nd yet?0
