I'll wait. Sky do it for free as do some others.

I started looking for new house phones when I switched from Sky to NowTV as ours stopped displaying caller ID. That would have been annoying as hell but for a comment on here, whoops.

Had a call back from virgin but they said they couldn't get any where near the NowTV price £20 and said it was a really good deal. (I didn't even mention the £50 voucher!)
  • Hi

I'm looking to switch my dad to the current £18 per month NOW TV broadband and anytime calls package. He currently has an expensive Sky broadband and anytime package.
Would be interested if anyone has done this switch and if they have any opinions both on the ease of switch and the NOW TV service.

    Many thanks
  • I switched from Sky ADSL to NowTV fibre a few months back and there's no issues at all. NowTV are actually owned by Sky so the router you'll receive is the exact same one you get with Sky nowadays.
  • Any more experiences with this switch would be much appreciated.
    Many thanks!

We switched from BT to NOW a month or so ago.

The switch itself was very simple. Just one problem: we couldn't receive phone calls, although we didn't notice this for a week or two.

NOW customer service is extremely poor! 'Live' Chat is dead. NOW don't respond to online messages. Calling by phone - which they say could take up to 10 minutes - took 29 minutes before we reached a person.

In summary, as a scaled down operator: fine. Just don't expect real customer service and you won't be disappointed.

After BT's ridiculous offer to stay with them, we are relaxed about NOW.
  • Thanks for the replies guys much appreciated.
Taken the plunge through Topcashback and everything went through ok.
Lets see how the migration goes.

Just released that NowTV take payments by card and not direct debits.

    Therefore:

    1) It won't count as one of my BOS DirectDebits ?

    2) Won't get Santander123 3% cashback

    Is this correct ?
