The price isn't set until you hand over the money. that is when a contract is made.
    That's not really correct.
Handing over the money doesn't mean that the contract is formed. Formation of the contract only occurs once the money offered has been accepted.

You could hand over the payment and the seller could still refuse to accept it in which case there would be no contract.

What amazes me is the pricing errors are always in the shop's favour, not the customer's favour.
There will be a price change team of staff replacing old prices with new ones. Sometimes old special offers are mistakenly not removed but it shouldn't be surprising that customers only moan when the price is higher than they expect, not the other way around.

Eh, no sorry. I worked at Somerfield (a very good superstore) I also worked at J Sainsbury. (in one of the 1st locals) so I have have a bit of !!!!!!.

When the price changes it goes two ways. It is not always in the shops favour.

Oh and I worked in supermarkets before you were born Andrew Cochrane, Galbraiths, Presto, Safeway. Somerfield were never VG or had any superstores.

Jeeeeeeeeez oh. You are probs the most rude person I have ever come across. So you dont like coop. You dont like somerfield. You dont seem to like me. You ask about my age and if I have a wean? I think you are weird. YOU ARE WEIRD.

I would wear that as a badge of honour if you weren't in your 40's and trying to be relevant for the sake of it. There you go again getting things wrong. Somerfield supermarkets no longer exist. Can you point out where did I say I didn't like them or Co-op?

I didn't ask about your age...you have advertised it on MSE for all to see.

You seem to know more about BRENDAN COLE than a supermarket. Sorry if you have to log off and then log back on with your actual "real" username.

Put up and tell me who you think I am?
