I've had a lovely day off today with lovely sunny weather, tomorrow is supposed to be colder so looks like I will be painting 😀. Of course I'm not feeling great this evening but hopefully will feel ok tomorrow
Me and DD took B for an evening walk through the fields when she got home from work so I've had lots of exercise today. I'm just sitting here with a cup of tea and a hot cross bun 😍😍

Another lovely sunny day here. I've just been for a walk with B and I'm now having a well earned coffee. I didn't get any jobs done on Friday because I felt ill all day so I just chilled out and did the basics in the house. I did make a lasagna for tea which DD shared and it was very yummy, I took the leftovers to work yesterday and it was lovely heated up, I do love leftovers they always taste better second time around 😊
I've done my banking today as well so that's all straight. I've paid some money into the house fund more for safety than anything else because I am suffering from an almost overwhelming urge to spend money on things I probably don't need 🙄 this way it's safe out of the main account and I won't draw it out unless it's for the house, it does owe me £8 for a tin of gloss paint but if I pay myself that I won't have a nice even number in my savings 😂😂 and that will bug me. I'm going to keep a list of what I've spent so I don't lose track and I will need to draw it out at some point.
I've also paid £50 into my Christmas/ birthdays fund which has replenished the money I've spent out on things in March.
I can't decide how to do my food shopping,I'm tempted to go back to using cash and my envelope system again because I found this easier to control than using my debit card, I have the best of intentions but always fail to keep track of my spending when using my card. I think I will trial it for this month and see how it's works out.
Ive also updated my signature to the new amounts. This months SC payment has gone out and most of my bills have been paid so things are just ticking along
My new mantra for this month is NO YOU CANT BUY A HORSE EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE £3000 IN THE SAVINGS 😂😂 GET ON WITH THE BLOODY DECORATING 😂Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -
It's an excellent idea to know where you are with pensions. My state pension will be all paid up in about five years I think, but I've only had an occupational one for two years since doing my current job and that is mostly part time, but it's better than nothing and I'm not planning on retiring for another ten years. You'll probably get quite a good NHS pension plus the state one so you'll probably be okay for money I would have thought.
I'm glad you've got good weather too, we've been really lucky lately with this burst of warm sunny weather ☀️, although it's going to get colder tomorrow so we'd better make the most of it today 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I had quite a productive day in the end, I changed my bedding and got mine and DDs washed and out on the line, mines gone out overnight so I'm hoping it doesn't rain overnight,I also spring cleaned my bedroom which badly needed dusting, I haven't stopped sneezing since I finished it 🙄 it looks lovely now and I have lovely clean bedding to get into later
We went out for another walk through the fields after tea with B, it was really cold though so I hand to wear a coat
I also took a chance on ordering a bra online today, it is from M&S but a none wired one, the reviews said it was good for the larger bust as it has built in support so I'm hoping it will be ok. I hate buying bras and Im so fed up with the wires coming out of the ones I normally wear, I've repaired them so many times but they just come through again, anyway I got in a strop today and chucked them out. I do already have some non wired ones but they come up quite high so are no good with some of my tops with a lower neckline plus they didn't have my size online. I looked at Sainsbury's but they only had one available that went up to my size which I didn't like. My friend goes to a lingerie shop in the city and gets fitted there, they are really good but she pays in excess of £50 for one bra which I can't justify, the good thing about them though is you go for a bra check and if they think it's needed they rewire them for you, they also have to hand washed which is a no from me 😀😀
I'm not sure what I'm going to be doing tomorrow, maybe I will have enough energy to start prepping for the decorating,I need to wipe down all the paint work first and fill a few holes then I can get on with painting the woodwork .......watch this space

Oops forgot to say I've had 2 NSDs so far for April,I lost track of March but will try harder this month 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942

Well done on the NSDs - I’m as bad as you at recording my NSDs I start off with good intentions of recording them and loose track.I think you should save your cash for doing the house. To get a horse would be lovely for you but what about all the associated fees 😳😳 My dds in-laws have horses and the vets bills make my toes curl 😳😳.It sounds as if you’ve been very busy today. I love it when the bedroom has been blitzed and there’s new bedding.January spends - £587.583
