HairyHandofDartmoor said:I agree that Skyr natural yoghurt with berries in is lovely and makes a tasty dessert, although the Sky is a bit pricey. Yeo natural yoghurt tastes gorgeous too. Good luck with your healthy eating OBL. I definitely know that chocolate makes me sluggish, as I ate quite a lot yesterday (ahem) and I was literally falling asleep in my armchair!
I hope you enjoy your last day off. I've got this week off but I don't really know what to do with myself as I'm not allowed to go anywhere or to see anyone. I'll probably be glad to go bak to work next week 🤣 .Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -

Had a fairly good day at work yesterday which was marred by severe pain in my left hip ,this flare up ever so often but I'm not sure why and it was annoying that it chose my first day back at work to play up. I didn't end up having a NSD yesterday because I was in so much pain I had to go and buy some Ibuprofen which did take the edge off enough for me to finish my shift 😊
Last night I sat and finished the book I was reading, it was a bit disappointing but an ok read. I can now start the book I treated myself to for Valentines ,called Wintering ( The power of rest and retreat in difficult times) by Katherine May, the blurb on the back says ........Wintering is a poignant and comforting meditation on the fallow periods in life, times when we must retreat to care for and repair ourselves. Katherine May thoughtfully shows us how to come through these times with the wisdom of knowing that, like the seasons, our winters and summers are the ebb and flow of life. I've been looking at it for ages and thought it would be a good read for our current situation 😊
Today I've not done loads mainly because I don't feel too good, I have a bit of a sore throat and my pain levels have increased quite a bit. I did still take B for a walk and sort the 🐓🐓 and I've done two loads of washing a small pile of ironing and hoovered the main areas of the house.I cooked pancakes with DD for tea and I'm just going to make my packed lunch for work tomorrow then I'm off to bed. I'm better off in bed when my pain gets to this level, I will have to take some codeine and paracetamol to try and get on top of it. Today has been a NSD though so that was good news 😀
Tomorrow Im working 9-5 so a nice short day 🎉🎉and I'm in clinics which I've checked out and they aren't crazily busy. I also working with my best friend so much chaos and laughs will be the order of the day. I'm always continually surprised that they let us work together to be honest, I suppose we are so short staffed they haven't got a lot of choice 😀
Right I'm off to make my lunch then bed 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
