I was about to throw a tube of moisturiser away earlier because I couldn't squeeze anymore out but I decided to cut the end off the tube to use the last bits up and was shocked at how much was left inside,I'm going to be buying tubs from now onOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944

Also forgot to add to my post today that I was thinking about my savings today and have decided to allocate the money from the council tax free months to my Christmas savings account to get that off to a good start instead of adding it to the house fund. I'm using DDs money to do the jobs in the house and if they are done before she moves out any remaining money will be used to add to my savings with a view to chucking it at the debt in the future. I am due a DMP review with SC soon and would like to increase my payment up to £100, it's £86 at the moment so that's only another £14 but it would help a little bit I will need to work it out this month so see if it's doable
The main jobs that need doing in the house are
Floors, I need new flooring that is pet friendly because mine is wrecked, the kitchen floor needs replacing completely because it is damaged in a couple of places and there is an actual hole in the floor in one spot, luckily the vinyl flooring is holding us up if we accidentally step on it but it needs doing urgently before one of use falls through 😳
The bathroom needs tiling,I can paint the walls that need painting but tiling is beyond me, it's ok for the time being but will need looking at. I'm doing the flooring in here because it's only small and it's quite easy to do
I need a new front door handle, this broke when DDs boyfriend was living here so quite a while ago and I have just not got it fixed, there is currently an adjustable spanner acting as a door handle, this has been a really good talking point with various delivery drivers and I think they will all be disappointed when it's fixed 😀
I don't need a new kitchen but would love one, sadly this isn't going to happen so I need to work with what I've got. I am going to paint my cupboard doors at some point because this is a cheap way to brighten it up and I can do it myself, they are currently white but are over 20 years old so not a nice white, it's been a good kitchen but it's dated now so anything I can do to make it look better is a bonus
The biggest job is the steps leading up to my front door have parted company with the house so there is a gap between them and the wall of the house. All the houses in my row have had the same problem and have had various repairs done to them but they don't last, our houses are built into the side of a hill on clay soil so any weather changes from wet to dry or vice verse causes a problem. I'm not sure if I will ever get this sorted out to be honest.im loath to repair or rebuild when it's going to happen again. We had a good survey done on this house when we bought it and there was no evidence of subsidence but that was over 20 years ago so god knows what it would come up with now. I will check out my buildings insurance just in case, the drains collapsed in the back garden and that was covered under my buildings insurance but I'm not sure about this😟
Finally I need to update my signature because my savings are not up to date at all 😀

Just caught up!
Love the picture of the chickens. The one where she is looking at the camera is lovely. I wonder what they are thinking when they are doing this as they are quite intelligent animals.
Sorry about the steps. If is annoying paying money when you know they will need doing again at some point. I feel like this every time I decorate to be honest. I know it will always need a new coat or something doing to it at some point and whenever you do decorate inevitably something always gets on the wall within a matter of days.
You have reminded me I need to update my signature as it is well out of date. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.

Work went well today. I was 1-1 with a patient so spent nearly all day sitting down 😊 I've now got two days off 🎉🎉
I do have plans to do some house jobs tomorrow. I scrubbed all the doors on the lower cupboards in my kitchen last week but still need to do the top ones so I might do that tomorrow. I also need to have a look at my carpet cleaner to see if I can fix it myself, I think I've owned it for about 8 years and it's never broke before so got my moneys worth, I don't want to buy a new one because I'm having wood floors put in downstairs and when I'm pet free I won't need it anywhere else so it's best to try and fix it if I can.
I also forgot to say that I managed to get a set of free hinges on Friday. I went to our new staff room for my break and there was a workman there removing a cupboard ,he took the door off first so I asked him if it was being dumped and if so could I have the hinges, the cupboard door for my under sink cupboard came off when the hinge broke and Ive been trying to get some replacements that were the same for ages, these should be ok so hopefully I will be able to out that door back on 😊
I've also made a big mistake today and joined a page on FB for people who use Frenchchic paint to paint furniture, I was going to use it on my kitchen and all the ones I've seen on there look amazing 😊
Today was meant to be a no spend day but I was naughty and bought doughnuts on my way home, I went into Mr S looking for Platinum Magazine but they didn't have it so I bought doughnuts instead 🤷♀️Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -
