Hi everyone from a soaking wet and dark corner of Devon, it's horrible here today 😟 First things first I have to say I'm not feeling good at all, my chest is giving me problems and I'm quite breathless when I'm walking or talking😟I went to work yesterday and did my clinics but I left as soon as they finished because I was feeling ill, I'm not going in tomorrow now and I'm phoning my gp on Monday to see if I can get an appointment for some advice or for someone to actually see me and listen to my chest. I'm ok so long as I'm sitting down and not doing anything but that's no good for work 😟 i checked my Bp, pulse and oxygen levels yesterday and my Bp was a bit low for me but within normal parameters, my heart rate and oxygen levels were normal so the lack of breath isn't affecting any of that but I just feel horrible
I have nearly finished the back of my jumper, I was going to do some last night but was too tired, I am going to do some later though and will hopefully finish the back today. I also want to get the Xmas decks out of the loft but I haven't got the energy to get up the ladder yet, I think I might just get them all down on one day and then put them up over a few days instead of all in one go. DD 1 has suggested getting some board games for DGs1 for Christmas, he is getting to an age where he will enjoy a board game and we all love playing them too so it's a good ideaOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
I hope the day's rest tomorrow does you good and you can get a GP appointment soon. It's so obviously been a horrible condition piled on top you not being well not so long before: I think it will take a while to get your strength back so be as gentle on yourself as you can.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. I had a lovely long sleep last night which was much needed. I also finished the back of my jumper so can now start on the front, it's very thick so will be very warm, I probably won't need to wear a coat with it it's so chunky 😀
So far today I haven't done anything apart from lounge on the settee and scroll through FB and instagram. I'm just having a coffee and then I'm going to cast on the front of my jumper, I can't do any rows of the cat blanket today because I need to measure the bed to see how much more I need to knit but the cat is fast asleep in the bed so I have to wait for him to wake up, he's currently snoring his head off so not likely to wake up any time soon 😀 I also need to make a pasta and sausage bake for tea so will do that later .
The weather is very changeable here today ,one minute it's sunny then the next it's chucking it down, I was going to let the 🐓🐓out but I don't want them to get soggy before they go in for the night, Ginger was moulting but now has most of her new feathers so she is looking less bedraggled she has got lovely new dark copper feathers this time and is starting to look quite healthy again. I must try and get some photos of them both, Babs is a very pale ginger colour so completely different to Ginger
I nearly forgot I also haven't done my banking yet so need to check that today. Last time I logged in I made a note in my budget folder of all the dates the various direct debits come out so I know at a glance when they should have been paid. I got a naughty scam text last week telling me my phone bill hadn't been able to be collected and that if I didn't click on the link to sort it out my service would be suspended, I ignored it because I know my bill has come out the bank and nothing happened to my service 😡Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -

Glad to hear you had a good night's sleep, OBL. I'm sure you are right that the Covid caught you while your immunity was still low from your other recent infection, as you weren't really fully recovered from that at the time. Keep taking good care of yourself. Lots of healthy food, good hydration, fresh air & sleep. No point trying to do everything at once if your system isn't back to normal.

Glad to hear you had a good night too and that jumper is coming on.
I got the same text, but not from my service provider so knew it was fake.
Hope you're feeling better soon. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x3 -
You must’ve really needed that sleep. The virus took advantage of you when your immune system was low. I hope the GP can give you something to ease your chest xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

That's a pretty amazing sleep!
Well done on making so much jumper progress, it's the perfect autumnal project. I don't know how you go about finding when you last edited your signature, sorry.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Hopefully your doctor will sort you out. I’m not convinced you should be back in work at all - bloomin virus fluctuates so much in how it makes people feel. I think a real good spell of good days is needed before even thinking about work.January spends - £587.584
