  • Sat here with a coffee after an awful nights sleep, although it's the first in a while regarding money.
    Don't know why, but money I currently and has been all night spinning around in my head! I'm debt free, but far from finically stable! I've spent most of the night tossing and turning and overwhelmed with anxious feelings-which is very unlike me to be honest. I normally just deal with things head on and battle my way through things (not just money) but I feel so anxious this morning and uncomfortable and it's not a feeling I like at all! (Respect to those who have these feelings on a day to day basis!) I can't quite put my finger on the reason I'm feeling like this. I know money wise I'm no where I want to be, but far better than I was.

    I've booked a mini break abroad and wondering if that's the reason I'm feeling worried/anxious money wise (I could potentially save £500 if I don't go) that's £500 towards my emergency fund or car fund, or my Christmas fund covered!

    My friends and family say I 'deserve' this break-well in all honesty I don't, I got myself into debt and paid it off, so was all my own fault anyway.

    I think I know what i need to do

  • I've slept like a baby! Got up early to re-do saving figures and have been asked to work today (it's actually my day off) but I could either stay at home and catch up on boring jobs-laundry etc or earn some cash!
    So time to get ready and earn some more money, I probably could do with a day off, but losing sleep the other night is a reminder of I'm not finacially happy yet so I can't stop just yet!
    Today I will earn more as doing two jobs at work, which pays more so even better.

    I'm going to add my savings plans into saving diary part now.

    Gosh I feel so much better after a good sleep...yesterday was full melt down mode! Ha ha.
  • Day off work and I'm on a mission to get sorted for the week!
    X 2Washing done!!!9989;
    Breakfast made !!!9989;
    Pasta cooked for meals this week !!!9989;
    Budget looked at and bank checked !!!9989;

    Still to do:
    Clean kitchen
    Clean bathroom
    Vacuum living room and steps
    Polish every where
    Check what foods in freezer, cupboards and fridge and use all up this week for teas, so don't need to get anymore shopping.
    Check hours working this week and see where I could fit any extra work in
    Brave the loft and de-clutter

    I'm going to put Lord of the Rings on as I missed it last night-I'm not going to stop doing house work until that's finished, so that will be a good three hours!

    Love a productive day! May even fit in a chapter of my book!
