 Back from my 15 days in India. We had a fantastic time. I only had one AFD but other evenings were very modest with, on average, just a couple of G&Ts.

Best wishes to all, I'm busy attacking the laundry mountain and I haven't read back. Not sure about tonight, I might stay in holiday mode.;) Although it feels like it should be bedtime already!:)

I'll definitively be out to smash my target of 10 for March Shaggy to make up for this month.

    3 AFDs please Shaggy.

    Hello
I'm calling early for today so 12/15.
I can't believe we're talking about March already, I want to increase my target so think I'll go for 20. It seems a daunting challenge but I guess that's the point!!

  • Hi all. I'm not doing so well this month - 7 AFDs in total and I don't think there'll be any more this weekend. I'm trying to get my head back in the right place to get back to it next week.

At the moment, if I think that I'll drink at the weekend, then all week I'm thinking well I might as well have one (or two or more!) because I'm drinking at the weekend anyway. I've usually got all good intentions of stopping again on Monday, but when Monday comes, my brain's telling me, well, it's Monday and I deserve a drink because I've been back at work, and then well, it's not a full week or even a full SNC week so I might as well leave it and start again next week!

I've tried some longer targets and done quite well with them. It's quite freeing thinking that the decision is made and that's that, but I feel like I've used up all my willpower at the moment

How do you all decide when to drink?

evening everyone! 18/23, please Shaggy. I'm going to pitch in with 28 for March; congratulations on the 50 AFD total!

maman - I would love to go to India! also Vietnam, AnnieG - I follow some food writers on Insta who have recently been - the markets and food look amazing.

bestlifenow - I decided to stop drinking at home as I knew this would make the most difference to why/when/how much etc I drink. It's a hard and fast rule for me at the moment so the decision on a daily basis is easy.
