Gosh, I'm destined to fail!
But yes, I would like to do the Sunday - Thursday challenge as I didn't drink last night.
And I must admit, it felt good getting up and being awake for once. Which was good as it was back to school and work today!
Ok I'll put you down for that..good luck! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

hi Pollyanna :wave:and welcome Tammykitty
Hey Pollyanna, agree with Shaggy, the thing to do is keep posting (which you are doing anyway) because it just helpsWhat you said reminded me though, I think Honey Bear said somewhere it's easier not to tackle dieting at the same time as trying to give up alcohol - also the weather's just turned cold - don't let me put you off, but for myself I'd find it a bad time of year to start a fasting diet, the nights are chilly and the evenings are long and dark
I'm just thinking out loud really, but if it was me I'd tackle one at a time (first alcohol, then the diet).
Can you find something else to do to tackle the boredom? ...0 -

Thank you. I seem to be all or nothing kind of gal.
I'm annoyed at my life in general and feel that I am stuck in a rut. And so I'm hoping the diet and not drinking during the week will keep me focused. I'm not that bothered about the food, it's always more the drink. But once I drink, I eat like mad!
I am thinking of taking up running in the evenings, but not sure what else there is do besides slumping in front of the telly every evening (I can leave my girls to run around the block a few times, but can't generally go out of an evening).Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

There's nothing you could take up that could involve your girls? Some hobby you could all take up? ... The answer is quite possibly "no" but I just thought I'd askRunning's not a bad thing to do though - good for the mood, apparently. I feel a bit "meh" at the moment and suspect it's probably just the turn in the seasons, the nights have drawn in and there's a lot of winter to go, but exercise does help.

I've finished everything I need to leave the house for today, so pyjamas on which means 2/4 for the SNC and 4/21 for November.
Job interview tomorrow, I've left the presentation to the last minute so am hoping that I can get this done in the next few hours.Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0
