2 please, Shaggy, ta I am so annoyed with myself. Went to Halloween party with neighbours last night and just drank so much, I lost today because I felt so ill. Onwards and upwards. I have been drinking so much on my non-AFD's recently, really going to sort myself out from now until Christmas. x

Pricey, we've very much all been there! Think these occasions are useful because they do motivate you to change. x

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I took a tablet last night so I could have a drink. So only 4 so far this week and 0 for the SNC.

Interesting - what did you take? I guess it worked?

It's a very strong anti histamine. I took it 20 mins before drinking and an hour after. It prevents the really severe reaction.

I did have a minor reaction, but just needed a drink last night.

22 days in a row here - most this year.....which is good...but I haven't lost any weight...so I must think harder about where I'm over eating...I did want to shed a few more pounds before Xmas...

Yes, 180mg as oppose to the 10mg that are in standard ones. I have four a day when I have a severe reaction.

Made it through the weekend without a drink! Yipeee!

    15 days of no alcohol!

I was very tempted on Friday, I have recently been made redundant and found out on Friday I got the job I had applied for! Normally I would celebrate with a few bottles of prosecco! Instead I swerved the alcohol isle in Tesco and treated myself to 2 bottle of ‘posh’ raspberry lemonade, drank it out of a wine glass just to feel special! Ha!

Normally we’d go out spend a ton of money and have the worst hangovers the next day, instead we ordered a pizza, drank posh lemonade and fell asleep on the sofa (it had been one of those weeks) How times change!

    First weekend in November passed.

    4/27 so far.

Wow Shaggy!! How had I missed that. Well done!:T

On the weightloss: I came on here and got the drinking under control first then started on food choices. Just cutting down booze wasn't enough on it's own to lose the flab but without cutting back I'd have had no chance. It could be over eating or it could be eating the wrong things. Good luck.:)

I'm taking advantage of a couple of quiet weeks socially to build up my scores.

3/10 AFDs please and 1 for the SNC.
