Nothing to apologise for lonelyrat. As HB says, what you might consider ramblings will be useful to someone as tips for cutting down/giving up. I certainly approve of rewarding yourself with the money saved!:D

I'm out for lunch today but have decided to be AF. Lunchtime drinking always makes me sleepy and I've got too much on later in the day.

    11/10 AFDs please Baileys.

Yeah well done maman first to get a backflipping penguin :T:T:T

Been pretty busy this week so had a mammoth catch up this morning. This does mean mistakes are likely so please check your numbers and don't be offended if I have it wrong I blame my blond hair  (well more grey really :D)

I think if I'd allowed myself to drink during the day I'd have been a lot further down the road to destruction by the time I eventually stopped. Like you, it always sent me to sleep and even when I wasn't busy that wasn't what I ever wanted during the afternoons. On the rare occasions I did, I was in bed by 5.00 pm.

Daytime drinking only happens on 'occasions'. So it would have to be a lunch party or a wedding or a holiday or something like that for me to justify it. Last weekend DH and I thought twice before having a drink at 5.30 p.m. watching the cup final as 6 p.m. is fairly ingrained here as wine o'clock.

I suppose we all set our own parameters/rules when we decide how we want to control our drinking. We all have to find a way that suits us best.:)

I did have a small wobble yesterday when I saw other diners sipping in the sun but I was determined!:D

    No drinking today either.

    12/10 AFDs please Baileys.

I lost the plot a little bit last week. Not that I was stumbling around the streets or anything, but just went way overboard on what I had planned to drink.

And I drank every day. And not little bits either.

And I'm way down on my 50% target. Think it is 43% or 44%. Still doable obviously, but still.

But move on, and don't let a bad week become a bad month.

I'm up to 8 days this month, so won't hit my target, but hey ho.

    Keep going Pollyanna - 43 / 44% is fab

13/15 for tonight please -almost near another smiley and within room of target for the month. If I make it or should I say when I make it that will be the first month at target for a while. Just need to keep going.
