I'm still wondering what crime it constitutes. Any ideas?
According to this article, it's anti-social behaviour.

Slightly different circumstances, but nonetheless a poo was deposited on a lady's doorstep, complete with poo-stained towel. _pale_

This sort of behaviour happens more often than you'd think. A few years ago in Aberdeen some wee ned shat down someone's chimney. A crime Grampian Police said was "unpleasant and unusual," but not that unusual as it turns out.

Yes If I were the OP I would be livid too. I've never had something as bad as that happen to me but I have had a plumber leave poo-prints (fingers prints made of poo) over part of my bathroom. I don't think it was done out of badness I just think that cleaning his bum without making an almighty mess was beyond his capabilities.0 -

These things chip at one's confidence a bit I find and take a bit of "boosting yourself" to get back to normal confidence levels imo. But don't let it put you off being the one "in charge" in future.
I didn't see anywhere that OP specifically said that everyone doing the work in her house was male. This is quite a stretch to see sexism in any scenario IMO. More likely the poo-dooer was either an idiot or just not a nice person.0 -

"Criminal damage" seems more likely.0 -
The words "he" and "him" used about the joiner in paragraph 1 are just a little bit of a clue...:cool:0

Get a private DNA test done. The workmen who didn't do it will probably provide a DNA sample to clear themselves. Whoever refuses is the culprit.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
