Natty - we have a post office in the next village that's in a lovely sweet shop and it's open on Sunday. Very tempting to go in, though.

Valli - somebody shouting at work? Doesn't sound good!

The bit in bold got me confused Valli, do you have a secret post office that opens on a Sunday..or has the forum changes made everything appear all "Alice in Wonderlandy"... :D

I don't know what time it opens (probably 7:00 am) but it's open until 10:00pm seven days a week; it's in a convenience store and it's brilliant; I usually end listings on Sundays; prompt payers get their items posted on a Sunday night!

It used to be a separate counter with 'normal' PO opening hours but they 'moved' the PO counter to the end of the other counter and the staff are all trained in PO as well as the retail stuff.

Thank you Valli and Natty for the lists. I will do what I can this week - probably not much, looking at my diary...

(((Hugs))) Honey Bear. One thing I have learnt from this course is that you sometimes have to let dreams and good intentions go when reality gets in the way. It's not easy, but necessary if we are to remain sane - whatever sanity means :rotfl: You will have more energy now for the things that are left x

    Congratulations to successful flymarketeers :T

I'm very relieved that the special service at church for which I was responsible went well this afternoon. I now have a number of thank-you emails to write.

I remembered to phone a friend before tea-time - he had a hip replacement op 9 days ago and is doing well - then spent the past couple of hours sticking labels onto 141 envelopes and watching Midwife followed by Chris Packham - my Me time for the day :)

    Tomorrow's plan:
    - strip our bed
    - WM x2
    - send some more emails
    - drive to Cathedral City for a morning meeting
    - take Rosie for a walk, then to her class
    - iron the pillowcases
    - sort and file more of the paperwork here in the study (I swear that it breeds overnight)
    - do some studying
    - re-make our bed
    - gammon with savoury rice for tea
    - write cards for Old Wives with birthdays in February
    - go to the Old Wives' meeting

Hope everyone has a good week x

Hello everyone - welcome to the start of the week...yawn...

Really windy here last night and it drove the dogs potty -
they spent many hours woofing, growling and finally barking like crazy hounds to "warn" us of the danger. Consequently, I am tired, because of course DH cba to get up to soothe them. Arsenic sandwiches for him today.

Glad to hear of the day eBay sales Piggers - well done!

Having a cuppa, then I really need to sort out my hair

    Morning everyone.

So it's Monday again, is it?? I only see one of my work colleagues on a Monday morning, and I have to say it seems like that is coming around every couple of days lately. Windy, dark, DD resisting movement with open eyes, traffic news says the roadworks on the way to work are alreeady causing a delay - it must be Monday morning.

Full day at job 1 today, need to make some choices about job 2 this evening.

    Have a good day all.
