Hi just popping into say you are doing really well with decluttering and debt busting. Sometimes though it does become a bit obsessive and you have to find a happy medium .

Sorry to hear about your car , it's very annoying when it happens and costly as well. I have some flowers coming up in my pots at the front door , thinking they may be crocuses.

    Have a good weekend.

Thanks Cumbria Lass, I'm a work in progress when it comes to 'balance' :rotfl:

I love seeing the crocuses popping up out of the ground. Then I know we're properly on our way to spring :D
  • Hi Lilith - so sorry to hear about your car last weekend. :(

You’ve certainly got into the spirit with the de-cluttering and also working on your food. 71 DVDS! Wow - that’s a good dent on the de-cluttering. I think it’s normal when one starts de-cluttering to feel like it takes a hold. I always think it goes in hand with the whole debt busting thing - all of it is a life make-over - it’ll settle down.

Well done your OH and his de-cluttering!:T. In my experience men HATE getting rid of anything!:)

    Have a good weekend!

  • Its good when you both focus and agree on the decluttering. Selling books is mostly depressing, rare that they are more than pence sadly. I used to sell the odd one on Amazon market place but even that has dried up now.

I can't stand shopping with OH, he is drawn like a magnet to the middle aisle, and can't possibly leave without buying said microwave, random tools and the inevitable penguin.

Ha ha! I don't tend to worry about the middle aisle with hubby, it's more about the snacks/chocolates and just random bits of food! He would often pop out to the local Co-Op for milk and come back with crisps, chocolate, crumpets etc! He has got better recently though. I did say I didn't trust him to go and do the shopping on his own :rotfl: and he did say if he bought anything for himself then he'd pay for it.

    Maybe I'm a bit of a control freak! :o
