Sounds like you are having a nice week off. I agree how quickly a week goes when on holiday compared to when at work. My OH would like a light meal of fish and chips and he would add in some bread and butter and also clear any leftovers from my plate. We were having homemade pizza yesterday and he asked if I wanted to get some chip shop chips to go with it - he tried to disguise his disappointment at having salad with the pizza 🙃7

Well done on your Spanish! I've really slipped back this last week: fallen right out of the diamond league and near demotion in whatever's below it. I blame work.
'Light meal' fish and chips? Do they do battered minnows with a new potato or something?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Happy Friday Eve, my week off is slipping away far too fast.
I fell out of bed at 2am, no idea how I managed that, can’t even blame it on Mr SA or the dog bed hogging. I just turned over and fell on the floor 🤣🤣 I’m not hurt thankfully.Going to the builders merchants this morning, incorporating it into the dog walk. Need to mop the floors before Mr SA gets up and shuffles all over.Another live WW cook along tonight, this time I’m actually going to attempt the recipe - fish tacos, I have all the ingredients apart from the avocado which I need to source today.Right, best get mopping.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Check your mattress is square on its base. We have 2 mattresses on the bed at the caravan & somehow the bottom mattress seems to go left & the top mattress travels right leaving it with no support, on my side obviously. No idea how it happens but by Sunday night I find I'm bracing myself not to fall out!

Your week is going so quick.
Have missed why you are going to the builders merchants?

Have been to Lidl this morning as it’s the only place I could be certain would have a ripe avocado for the cook along. It was a great time to go, so quiet. They had loads of those £1.50 veg boxes absolutely brimming with stuff. Was so tempted to pick one up but I have no room for anything else in my fridge or freezer. As mentioned above DS will pick up the pebbles from the builders merchants on Saturday.
Had my call up for the Covid booster. Nearest place I can book online is 3 miles away. I’m going to ring the doctors as when we went for the flu jab the nurse said the boosters would be done there. Will ring tomorrow as Thursday is half day closing 🙄 Never get ill on a Thursday afternoon round here!Mr SA has been self-diagnosing on Dr Google and he’s apparently got e-coli 😆 Actually he did have it when he was in hospital. He is on a pester for some blooming canvas shoes again. Told him he’s unlikely to find any as they’re a summer thing. He said he’ll go on strike if I don’t get him some. As he does nothing I’m not sure I’ll notice the difference.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
