Happy Tuesday, day 2 of week off.
Just waiting for the Mr M delivery. Third week running no missing items or subs 🥳 It’s been 100% better since they changed 3 weeks ago to back to how it used to be. If something is out of stock it tells you on the website so you can’t order it.
Will be off to the big garden centre later. Need to take the dog on the park first as we’re not taking her with us.After all the walking the plan is to watch a film or something on catch up TV this afternoon. Making mushroom and spinach pasta for dinner, was originally on last week’s meal plan but the spinach had gone slimy. Mr SA is having slow cooker chicken casserole.Have a good one 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

We haven’t been back long from today’s trip. 10k steps each way to the garden centre. It was worth it for one of their amazing strawberry cream scones though, they are delicious 😋 I’m not a big fan of cakes or desserts but I do like a scone now and again. People in the queue were commenting on how nice it looked. I was a bit disappointed I didn’t buy anything from the garden centre other than the coffees and scones. I was hoping to pick a couple of Christmas things up but couldn’t find anything that wasn’t overpriced for what it was.We stopped off for lunch on the way back. It was only in Spoons but this particular one is half decent and it was busy which is more than I can say for the other nearby pubs. I had a really nice 5 bean chilli and a glass of red wine. Mr SA had burger, chips and a pint. He’s so boring meals out wise and only ever has burger and chips or fish and chips, always with a side order of onion rings. One thing about Spoons is the food and drink is always consistent and value for money.Mr SA has asked if he can have ‘something light’ for tonight’s dinner like fish and chips 🤣 Too late his chicken is already cooking in the slow cooker, plus it’s only 3.30 and another 4 hours until we usually eat. Something light like fish and chips 🤣🤣Have booked an eyebrow wax and tint for tomorrow morning then the plan is to go to a local builders merchant to order some stones for the garden to finish another area off.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Happy hump day. I feel like my week off is flying by. Isn’t it weird, if I was at work I’d be thinking is it only Wednesday 😆
Nothing exciting planned for today, no change there. Eyebrow wax and tint this morning. Builders merchants if it’s not raining, Mr SA will insist on coming with me as he thinks this is man’s stuff 🙄 so it needs to be dry for his scooter. It would be a good walk for the dog though.
Need to catch up on cleaning today, especially the bathroom. Also need to spend time on my Spanish learning as I’ve dropped into the demotion zone in the league.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
😍😍😍😍to strawberry cream scones and I'm loving Mr SAs idea for a light meal, he seems to be on my wavelength on that score 😀
We are planning a garden centre trip as soon as possible, we have a lovely one not far from here that we can get to easily on the bus. They have such lovely Christmas displays and I like to go and look but try not to buy their Christmas decorationsOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1205 -
We didn’t go to the builders merchants in the end. I had my eyebrows done, did a bit of local shopping and the dog got a couple of good walks on the park. I’ve done a fair bit of cleaning and managed to do enough Spanish to haul myself up to midway in the league table.Something quick and simple for tonight’s dinner, scampi, sweet potato wedges and veg for me, Mr SA is having chips and beans with his.Need to do a FitOn workout before I have my bath.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
