I’ve managed to get loads done today. Moved lots of things back into the bedroom cupboard, tidied up the cupboard under the stairs which is my nemesis, then sorted out the dining room cupboard. Also moved everything round in the spare room, I think I’ll keep my old dressing table, it fits quite nicely in there. I thought I could use it to do my nails, could have all my varnishes out on display.Tested out the new Ninja tonight and I love it. Mr SA decided he wanted chips not wedges with his burger so it worked out well with his chips in one drawer and my wedges in the other. Took 15 minutes to cook both and they were so crispy.Spent the princely sum of £2.60 at the local shops this morning then another £10 on eBay this afternoon for a new exercise mat as mine is falling to pieces and making a right mess, sick of vacuuming the little bits up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Happy Sunday and a sunny one for now at least ☀️Was woken up by the sun on my face this morning, not going to complain about that even if it was very early.Should be NSD 2/15 today. Will be taking the dog for a long walk later, weather permitting. The rest of the day will be spent pottering about. If the weather stays dry will do some gardening. Still got a few bits to move into the bedroom cupboard. Everything is looking a lot more organised, I’ve even got a couple of empty drawers.Going to fish out a portion of nut roast from the freezer for tonight’s dinner. Mr SA is having steak. We’ll both have potatoes and veg to accompany.Need to jump on the recycling bin, it’s full to the brim and not being emptied until Wednesday. There’s a shortage of cardboard apparently, I think it’s all at my house 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

You have been busy empty drawers it will not last long I think between us we have got all the cardboard boxes I will have a job getting rid of them when I move5

I think I may also be contributing to the cardboard shortage. I bulk order pet food which comes in massive boxes and then it’s own boxes…and of course my Amazon addiction 🤔
I hope the weather stays lovely for your walk. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Starting to cloud over so it might just be the park over the road.
Unbelievably Mr SA’s cucumber plants look suspiciously like yet more sunflowers to me 🤣🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

I'm giggling at all the sunflowers. In the meantime though, what did he do with the seeds that he was supposed to plant?6

He’s adamant they’re cucumbers 😆 There’s a plant pot in the greenhouse full of unopened seed packets, including the aubergines I particularly wanted to grow.Took the dog for a very long walk locally, ended up at a park we haven’t been to before. Almost hit my 15,000 steps target in one fell swoop. There’s a pub where we walked with amazing views over the Vale of Belvoir. My first date with Mr SA was actually in this very pub, been there with a couple of exes too 😆 We’re going to go there for lunch on a day when the forecast is good and sit outside with the dog.The weather today is sunny one minute and raining the next. Really warm though.Planning on a relaxing afternoon.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
