Happy days, just noticed the England match is on late afternoon so won't interfere with my evening's TV viewing
Still not happy about Mr SA waking me up last night to inform me France are out of the competition, I really needed to know that
The WFH day goes well until 11am approx when Mr SA starts thinking about his lunch and mentioning it if I happen to get up from my desk. At 11.50 he shuffles into the kitchen to see if I'm making any inroads into making his lunch. At 12.00 sharp he shuffles back again if it hasn't appeared. At this point the cat will magically appear from nowhere and start staring at me. At 1pm the dog will start running round the house with her ball ready for her lunchtime run. At 4pm Mr SA will start mentioning his dinner, go for his shower, crack open a beer and start his evening's TV viewing. The cat usually makes another appearance at this point and will sit on my desk staring at me if I'm still working. At 6pm Mr SA will start wondering about what time said dinner will be ready if I haven't had my bath yet. At 7pm he will shuffle into the kitchen to check progress on dinner. Also at 7pm on the dot the cat will appear again and start trying to trip me up in the kitchen until she's had her 7pm treat.
You can seriously set your watch by all the above, drives me absolutely nuts!
On a MSE note, my Mr M delivery today had a bottle of rose wine on it that I definitely removed from my order due to it not exactly being rose weather. I mentioned it to the driver, told him it wasn't the end of the world as I could save it for when summer makes a reappearance. He said don't worry I'll take it off your order and you can keep it free of charge. Glad I mentioned it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Hooray to free wine. It’s been a beautiful sunny day here. My kind of weather- not too hot 😃
The food and feeding timetable would drive me mad too…..I’m impressed you manage to get any work done 👍January spends - £587.583 -
Your bedroom looks lovely - a good blend of tranquil and vibrant.
your description of your working from home day made me smile ..... but actually putting up with it would be an entirely different matter. It's nearly 6 so I expect Mr SA is checking on progress on his dinner, although he might need to do that earlier today to fit in with half time in the England game 😉3 -
The weather changed to warm and sunny this afternoon, it’s still lovely now. That’s the free rose wine did that 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Mine is also into routine…gets seriously worried if I have meetings over 12pm and very very worried if I need to work late, but never thinks to make anything himself. He just does the sucked in cheeks thing the pets do when they’re starving. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Woo hoo it's payday 😁
It will be NSD10, the final one of June, only just made it into double figures. Next month I'm aiming for 15. Money shuffling to do later. The Regular Saver matures today so I need to pay off the cc balance which is all the house/garden stuff purchased recently. The remainder will go back into the holiday pot.
Have been for a just over 5k run this morning, will do a yoga core workout after work and walk the dog at lunchtime.
Have a long meeting in my calendar this morning so will have to make Mr SA's lunch early as it doesn't finish until 1pm. Not looking forward to sitting at my desk for all that time 2.5 hours 😴
Today's cleaning task is the bathroom. Also going to start painting the bedroom cupboard today. Tonight's dinner is mushroom and pearl barley risotto, really need to use up a bit of pearl barley I have left hanging about in the food cupboard, it makes a lovely risotto.
Some of my courgettes are about ready to pick from the garden, they seemed to have appeared all of a sudden and are getting bigger every day. Good job I eat a lot of courgettes.
Must remember there's a live cookalong on my WW app at 6.30. I enjoy watching these and keep forgetting about them. Tonight they're making a graze board and cheeky G&T.
Mr SA and the dog are still in bed so all nice and peaceful for now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
