We put the last curtain pole up plus the TV bracket so I’m sure it won’t be as bad as I’m fearing. I’m just worried about ruining the newly plastered/painted walls. It’ll be fine 😬🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9

Good luck with the curtain pole and tv bracket 🤞. It must be lovely to see the finishing touches being put ito place

Happy Thursday
Not been out for my walk yet as I want to go to Lidl for some compost and it doesn’t open until 8. It’s a fair distance so will have to set off shortly. Weather is dull this morning, hopefully it won’t rain.Got deliveries arriving left, right and centre today. My phone keeps pinging with messages. It’s the virtual wine tasting tonight but they send a copy of the event afterwards so you can watch it anytime, which is good as I really don’t fancy having 3 bottles of wine open at the same time 🥴 These events always seem to be on Thursdays, last time I did a gin one and didn’t feel 100% working the next day 😆
Veggie chilli and rice is out of the freezer for tonight’s dinner. Mr SA is having sausage and mash in a giant Yorkshire pudding.
Need to get a move on...I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Lidl was a waste of time this morning, no compost. Going to try Aldi after work. The flooring is down and looks great. The window seat cushion has arrived, not quite the material I was expecting, but that’s what happens when you order online and can’t see it. I had to order a garden bench cushion to get the size I wanted. It’ll be fine once I get the scatter cushions on it. I can see Mr SA and I clashing over this refurb as not only does he keep leaving the sliding doors open he keeps moving the cushion, it’s like having a toddler 😠
The furniture is coming on Tuesday so it’s all coming together now.Have also bought some telescopic loppers for the garden shrubs that have got too tall for me to reach. I managed to cut some down yesterday but struggled with the rest. They’re cordless and have an attachment for grass edging too so will be handy to have.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
All going well (although I wonder why Mr SA keeps moving the cushion?🤔)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Mr RS never slides the wardrobe doors in our bedroom fully shut either. It drives me mad as well.

Glad it is almost done now. My DH does not have a problem with leaving wardrobe doors closed but for some reason he is incapable of folding towels neatly on the towel rail. They are just plonked anywhere. Infuriating.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
