Mr SA has been very odd indeed today. This morning we were on the park with the dog when he started going on about he didn’t know where his umbrella was. It wasn’t raining 🤔 He then went back home to look for it, in the meantime the dog had had enough and wanted to go home. We passed Mr SA in the street, he had his umbrella, I don’t know where he went. I’ve just got out of the bath to find him making his breakfast in the kitchen at 6pm 🤔I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Does Mr SA have vascular dementia? My dad had it after a stroke. If not I think a phone call to your GP tomorrow may be neeed.5

That sounds worrying you know him best I think a doctors appointment would put your mind at rest5

@CRANKY40 he has brain damage from a brain tumour 7 years ago. His last MRI a couple of months ago was clear. He does tend to get confused from time to time. He’d been asleep and was convinced he’d just got up.I’m keeping an eye on him. He’s already seeing the GP for the incontinence issue, he has an appointment on Tuesday. I know the brain tumour signs, lost my mum to one 21 years ago as well as nearly losing Mr SA to one.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

That's why I asked because vascular dementia is brain damage related - it's not like old people type dementia. My dad had brain damage from the stroke and he had a heart attack while he was already unconscious from the stroke so was oxygen deprived too. Definitely worth keeping an eye on MrSA5

Now he’s had a fall, definitely not with it today.I went on a dementia awareness course via work a couple of years ago and was surprised to find there are lots of similarities with Mr SA’s condition and dementia. He had a brain bleed when they took a biopsy of the tumour so in effect he has had a stroke. It affects his left side, he never regained the grip in his left hand.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
