Can’t believe how many of you are wrecking phones on a regular basis ha. Glad you got your husband sorted with a new one so promptly @Sun_Addict.
Tbf all iPhones are waterproof now, not sure about Samsungs but I’d image they are too.6 -

Morning, happy hump day
You've just reminded me about my old Sony Walkman phone Sheff, back in the pre-smart phone days.
Have been for a run this morning, only a short one but it involved a hill.
Today will be NSD 10 unless Mr SA scuppers it again. Need a few NSDs after yesterday's spend fest. Having to pay off Mr SA's phone contract has meant putting away less to the bedroom fund this week but at least I have the money to cover it. I knew something would crop up as it's payday next week and I'll be getting the extra with the backpay and bonus, you can guarantee if any extra money is coming in something will break or an unexpected bill will appear from nowhere.
Cleaning today is the bathroom. Tonight's dinner is stir fry for me and Cornish pasty, chips and veg for Mr SA.
Work internet connection has been a bit dodgy this morning, hopefully will be ok for this afternoon as I'm facilitating at a virtual workshop.

Just had to shoo off an enormous heron from my garden. OMG the wing span 😱 Time to move the decoy heron’s position I think. If you have a decoy you have to keep moving them or the real herons know it’s not real. Makes a change from greedy wood pigeons and violent robins I suppose.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

We were watching a heron at the local park last summer - the wingspan is very impressive. I always think of my youngest gdd when herons are mentioned. They’d stayed here when she was 2 and she loves the bird table in my garden. She was sitting by the patio doors playing and came to get me very excitedly tugging me to the doors. ‘Look g’ma it’s a.....it’s a ......baby duck’ she knew it was an impressive bird but duck and birdie were about as far as her vocabulary went at the time 😂😂😂😂
Mr SA must have really trashed his phone.Well done on getting it sorted.
January spends - £587.586 -
The herons are the reason we have nets on the pond. We both hate them but having lost all our fish at one point it is needed. I wouldnt mind but there is a large pond about quarter of a mile away which is used by the local fishing club.

When DD was little she came in from the garden crying about scary birds - it was herons. Unfortunately they took some fish from the pond. DS had an obsession with dinosaurs at the time and insisted they were pterodactyls 😆 Then there was the time we were chased up and down the garden by the biggest dragonfly I’ve ever seen. Harmless I know but I was convinced it was going to get tangled up in my hair. It followed us everywhere we went 😆
Have had a nightmare setting up Mr SA’s new phone. He gave me the wrong SIM card, insisted it was the right one, I tried everything to get it to fit. Eventually DD appeared and calmly took the right one out of an old phone he’d stashed in a drawer. Bangs head against wall 😣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
I tend to hang onto my phones but more by luck than any thing else, I am currently using an iPhone 5 which I've had since new but the day I got it the shop ha set it up for me and I took it out to have a look at it only to drop it on the road straight under a bus 🙀🙀🙀 I stopped breathing until the bus pulled away and there was my phone without a mark on it 😀 I've dropped it so many times since but it's still in one piece and actually doesn't look too bad 😀

Mr SA does keep you on your toes - you must have the patience of a saint.
Even with illness, its really wearing always being the one who sorts the problems - sometimes you must long to be the one handing a problem off. Hope DD is a good support.7
