Snow finally melting here but some sneaky icy patches too.Enjoy your Prosecco and your flowers will brighten up February - hopefully if you chose them yourself they'll have as many flowers as stalks and last for a good while.4

He’s ok but even with DD’s help we can’t get him out. It’s happened before and the ambulance men just got him out, they’re used to it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Oh crumbs, what a start to Valentine's. I hope he's okay and you and DD are too. I don't know if a mobile hoist is at all feasible - maybe not something people have at home, I don't know - but that might save your backs. Not cheap but I don't know if one could be provided for him by the NHS or a charity. Are you still waiting for the paramedics?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

He’s ok thanks, still sound asleep in bed. I managed to get him out eventually with the aid of a stool so cancelled the paramedics. I thought he was doing well, he’s not had a fall for some time. I wish he wouldn’t put himself in these situations 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9
