Happy Monday we had thick fog here this morning but cleared up about 10 and it’s definitely a lot warmer if this keeps up we should have rid of the snow in a couple of days and let’s hope it stays away5

Happy Monday SA. I'm glad you managed to get Mr SA out of the bath and I hope you didn't strain your back whilst doing it.
I'm glad the dog is okay. I think the blood tests were a good idea to give you peace of mind.
I hope your weather gets warmer soon. It is a bit warmer where I live thankfully but still overcast and a bit grim looking. We all need spring to come. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

The weather has been beautiful here today @HairyHandofDartmoor, really mild and sunny. Could almost smell spring in the air.Went to the shop for bread after work and walked the long way round coming back to take in several hills. Unfortunately I had my winter coat on and was absolutely boiling which made it quite uncomfortable.I put in the meat and veg box orders for Thursday. The meat should last Mr SA well over a month so the initial outlay should be recouped over the coming weeks. The butcher has good reviews for quality and service. Even though I don’t eat meat, I like to see it before I buy normally so am trusting the reviews.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Buying meat in bulk saves us so much money in the long run. If you have the freezer space it is the best way to buy meat.

Much warmer here today.
I got a pack thing from the butchers a while back & was pleased with it.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Morning, happy Tuesday
Looks like a wet grey miserable day out there so far today. At least it's a lot warmer though.
I've got a Mr M online order coming later so it will be a spending day. Exercise will be dog walking and a yoga class. Cleaning is kitchen and dining room. Tonight's dinner is smoked haddock fishcake and veg. Mr SA is having chicken casserole in the slow cooker which he will moan about all day then enjoy it in the end. At some stage he'll lift the lid off the slow cooker and ask if it's for the dog 🤨 In one ear and out of the other 😆
Hoping for a quieter day work wise today after yesterday's non-stop day. Got plenty to catch up with so I won't be bored 😁

I’m sure I’m married to your husband 😂5

Izzy I think Mr SA and your hubby are long lost relatives, maybe twins 🤣🤣
I made some split pea soup for lunch today with home made flatbread using yoghurt and flour. Cooked the flatbread for 5 minutes in the Ninja on air crisp, OMG so delicious 😋
It’s DIL’s birthday next week so have ordered her a pamper box from Etsy. Usually put some money in her card but didn’t fancy risking it getting lost in the post and obviously I won’t be seeing her in person as she lives 20 miles or so away. It’s got loads of different bits and bobs face packs, socks, candles, chocolate etc. She likes that sort of thing so it should go down well.
I’m sure the vet injected the dog with rocket fuel last week as she’s been as lively as a puppy ever since. She’s making up for lost time with the eating too. It’s great to see her back to normal.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9
