And here we are back home. Super smooth and fast flight home, tail wind always good. Pilot said we were in a hurry as cabin crew member's birthday and she had a bottle of wine waiting for her so he was stepping on the gas :) Landed 30 minutes earlier than expected. Bit of an ordeal with Mr SA refusing disabled airport assistance, having to be helped down the aircraft steps by cabin crew and then struggling but what's done is done and at least he didn't fall. On the plus side we were escorted straight through Customs without queuing on arrival at East Midlands.

Passenger next to me on the plane had a gold medal on talking for England. I know her life story and I know the story about all her various dead family members.

Mr SA managed to cadge a bottle of aftershave on the plane citing birthday - good bargain though 20% off bottle of Calvin Klein £20 and smells lovely.

Glad to be home. Nice long soak in the bath. Dog and cat happy to see us.

First thing Mr SA said on arriving home said can I have fish and chips tonight.

I got a sort of veg fix of the frozen variety. Fresh veg arriving tomorrow with the Mr M delivery, can't wait, I'm definitely having a huge veg stir fry tomorrow which is my favourite.

Need to come back down to earth first then will be back on it - diet, exercise, finances, etc.
