Morning all 😎 How can it be the last day of September already!
Have been for a run this morning, had to walk some of the way back as the muscles in my right leg were very uncomfortable. Will do some stretching exercises today. Washing is pegged out, it's not raining yet but is predicted. Fly Lady is spare room so not much to do on that front, will catch up on some of the kitchen and bathroom bits I didn't have time for on Monday/Tuesday.
Payday 🎉 Finances done. Have done some shuffling around of pots and moved some money from my holiday savings to pay for the greenhouse if it ever gets delivered. Have to pay for it 10 days before it's delivered and no delivery date as yet, ordered it at the beginning of the month but it did state up to 10 weeks delivery.
VSP has been rounded up to £600 - which is what I need for my Christmas fund. I'm also now halfway to my emergency fund target of £10k with £5k sitting in there, this is the most I've had in there for absolutely ages so quite pleased with this.
Next savings target is for a new iPad as my current one is too old to update and I can hardly use it for anything. Looking around I can get one for £449 but will wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday to see if I can get a deal before purchasing. All spare money will be thrown at this pot until I hit target. Then I'll be saving for a new oven.
Have a wonderful Wednesday and enjoy the final day of September x

My washing is being rained on as I type, I need to bring it in but don't fancy getting wet 😀
I saw on the news yesterday that Aldi are trialling home delivery and click and collect in some of it stores because during lockdown everyone started online shopping and it effected their businessOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1208 -
Glad you are still managing to get out and about. I found that Aldi was the only store that didn't suffer too much from the effects of panic buying. Not only were they amongst the first to put in restrictions, but the fact they continually replenish the shelves meant that they were always dealing with the shortages. Maybe people only panic buy in branded stores?LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Sainsbury’s was a nightmare for panic buying when all this started back in March. I remember going in on my lunch break and the sheer greed of people emptying the shelves overwhelmed me. It was an awful experience that I never want to witness again 😢😡
Had a busy day at work, have taken on some new tasks due to people moving on and have been doing some training.Did a yoga session after work, trying to stretch out that painful muscle in my leg. Loving being able to use Fit On via my WW app, lots of different exercise classes.Despite it being lovely and sunny first thing the rest of the day was dire, gloomy and raining.
Sitting with my feet up now, starting to feel tired so it won’t be a late one.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Morning all, happy October 😎
Quick trip to the big Mr T's this morning so that's 7,000 steps clocked up already. For October I'm going to aim to do 20k a day, not sure how so it's a goal without a plan 🤣 The only trouble with going to big Mr T on Thursday mornings is that it's quite busy with elderly shoppers. The face mask came in handy when I was mouthing 'encouragement' to the elderly lady who decided to stop and read her shopping list right in front of the sanitising station and baskets totally oblivious to the fact a queue was forming, bless her 😒
Fly Lady is lounge/hallway, must admit did nothing on the list yesterday.
Have a terrific Thursday x

Hope you enjoyed the gin. Can’t stand the stuff myself but I remember watching something - think it Eat Well For Less......where they had a tableful of posh folk and blind taste tested various gins - at very varying prices. Aldi came out very well and folk couldn’t believe it.....
I haven’t been in a shop all month but dh has taken over for me...when I asked if he’d seen any panic buying he looked at me as if I’d grown 2 heads - so he’s either gone around the shop oblivious to it or there hasn’t been any.🙄😂January spends - £587.587
